I owe my love of family history to my grandfather, Dennis Wheeland. Some of my fondest memories are going through old family albums with him and listening to him tell me stories of our ancestry. I was about 18 when I started actively researching our tree and started my husband's in about 1996. Found FindAGrave.com while searching and knew, that with all of the cemeteries that are so close to where I live, I needed to contribute something.If you are the direct descendant of someone I have transcribed please contact me regarding having the memorial transferred.|

I am not related to this family. I photographed that cemetery as time permitted when I lived in Dallas.

Just wanted to let you know she is already listed as Mary Elizabeth Fowlkes Thackston Find A Grave#18769576 - Memorial has more detail except the year date of Death is 1888 which is incorrect (I enlarged your picture of headstone) Yall might want to correct and combine pictures,etc. Thanks for checking.

Patrick Henry Carey Cabell whose grave is shown at Find A Grave Memorial# 51334819 is not the son of Samuel Jordan Cabell and Sarah Syme. Nor was he born in 1799 nor died in 1838. Patrick Henry Cabell was one of the 5 sons of Samuel Jordan and Sarah Syme Cabell. Patrick Henry Carey Cabell is a great-nephew of the particular Patrick Henry Cabell and was born in in 1864 as is legible on the tombstone.

The Sallie Dugan buried in Eastern is African American. Is that who you are looking for?
|Deborah Plimmer||RE: Missouri Alice Sweeney Conner|
Thanks for trying. I wonder who created the link?
|Deborah Plimmer||Missouri Alice Sweeney Conner|
Missouri had only 1 husband, Jennings W. Conner. Joel Sweeney was her elder brother. Will you please remove Joel Sweeney as her spouse. Thanks. Missouri was my 2nd great aunt. Her parents were: John Sweeney [1780-1857] & Tabitha Virginia Baugh [1784-1860].
