Bio and Links
I have been interested in genealogy since I was 16, over 40 years. All of the people I have put in are related to my husband or I, with the exception of the famous people and some related to Iowa history. If you have any additions or corrections or are related to any of these people, please feel free to contact me. If you are more closely related to these people than I, I will be happy to transfer them to you, if they are not in my direct line, many are quite far down on family tree.
I also have listed several families who were killed in the Johnstown, Pennsylvania flood in 1889. All of them I have listed, bodies were never found. If these are part of your family, I will gladly transfer them to someone who knows more about them than I do.

Harrison Allen
I emailed the info on Harrison Allen's widows pension. It is a PDF. Yes, I would like the marriage records of all the children. Thanks.

RE: Children of Harrison & Anny
Actually, I was confused when I wrote that. I have the complete pension for Anthony Street, but I don't think he is in your tree. I only have the two indexes for Anny Allen's pension. I looked for it twice at the National Archives to no avail. The supervisor in the Findings Room determined it had been sent to another location. They said they don't have it. I can send you the indexes you have if you give me an email address.

RE: Children of Harrison & Anny
I don't have anything on Joseph Slater Allen being married, of course, I have not pursued him very much. All I have is 1860 and 1870 census along with the Find A grave entry. I do have Annie Allen's complete widows pension file that I copied at the National Archives. Do you have that?

RE: Charles Allen
Deena, thanks for fixing this. So, it looks like we are cousins. By any chance do you have any documentation that shows Alfred and Harrison are siblings and are the children of James Allen and Mary Hyzer? I have been looking high and low trying to document Harrison's parentage. Mary

Charles Allen
Hi Deena, I have a question regarding Charles Allen, Memorial Number 60932343, Old Union Cemetery, Alfordsville, IN. I am wondering why you are showing Alfred Allen and Harrison Allen as half-siblings. I am a descendant of Harrison Allen and never seen this before. Thanks for clarification.

John Andrew Jackson
Hi Deena, Sorry about the blank note. I'm writing about John Andrew Jackson - he is buried in Woodland, Xenia, according to his death record. I can send it if you need it. Thanks, Suzanne

I am working on photographing all of Green Mountain Cemetery (Iowa) and have maybe about 1/4 done. I see there are many more Yetleys buried there so I should have all photographed by mid-Spring.

I added more pictures of Keiser graves from Charity Cemetery, if you are interested! The entire cemetery is photographed now!

This is in regards to William Francis Jessup, you have him listed as Francis William Jessup. Are you related? I am needing info on his parents. I have all the children there were more than you listed and all of Sarah Scieota DeVault Jessup. He is the grandfather of my father in law and I have been basically the only person to put this family history in order. I am praying you can link me back further than him. I appreciate anything you can give me
