I have been happily married for over 40 years and we have one son, Greg. Greg and his wife Jennifer have three children and live in CA. We live in WA state and I was born in Olympia, WA. I am the family genealogist (so they tell me) and have tried to accumulate as well as file all the family pictures and documents that I can find.
My maiden name was YATES and the family is traced back to the marriage of Miles Yates and Deborah Holmes in Roane County, TN in 1840. Other family names include: KELSAY, BREEDLOVE, PENTECOST, SMITH, MOLINE, NORDGREN, REGISTER, POINDEXTER, OSGATHARP/OSGATHORPE and CHANCE.
My husband Jim's WILKERSON family is traced back to DE to the early 1800's when his GG-Grf Joshua was born there in 1811. Joshua and his brother George migrated from DE to IN in the mid 1800's and from there to IA by the 1840's. Other family names include: DESPAIN, WHITMORE, TRUE, OTTO, BOYERT, BEAN, SKAGGS, RIPLEY and JORDAN. | |
