I am a retired airline pilot and director of operations of the third largest regional cargo airline in the United States. I started genealogy research about 13 years ago after my father passed away. I have spent the past eight years taking photos of graves all over the United States and will be posting most of them as time permits. I have three grown children and ten grandchildren|
I have recently moved to south-central Missouri and will make photo trips for cemeteries in St. Clair County.

There is a delete button. You click on delete, and it is going to have you put in the reason. OR transfer it back to the person that transfered the duplicate to you.

Are you connected to the Kilgore family from MS? Mahalia's son, George, married Georgia McClung, a sister to Lawson M. "Bud" McClung, who married my great aunt, Edna Bennett.
I have lived in St. Francois County, MO for over 50 yrs, but spent the first 16 yrs of my life in Calhoun County, MS. I have a passion for genealogy also and spend way too much time "digging up dead people".
Thanks for being a part of Findagrave.

I'm confused! Now that both memorials are listed in the Bounds-Kilgore family cemetery and you maintain both of the memorials, why can't you delete the one with the least information?

Thank you Linda.

I have moved the two Kilgore memorials to the Bounds-Kilgore cemetery. Please add your photos of their stones. This is not my family and I will be happy to transfer them to you if you like.

You're welcome. I live 6 miles from Wynnewood.

Thank you so much, Linda, for the transfer. I appreciate your creating and managing their memorials. Hugh was my gggrandfather's brother. He and his wife lost all three boys, most in infancy. Only a daughter, Sylvia, reached adulthood. I've been trying to track down Hugh's death certificate as Missouri SOS doesn't have it on its website.
Don't fret about the mishap; I've had another situation with a transfer being off by one digit. It will resolve itself sooner or later, I'm sure.
I wish you luck in your endeavor with the cemetery photos. (I've taken shots of some cemeteries down in central Florida but have been dissuaded by the erosion that just a few years of weathering/fungal attack will cause.) I realize how much effort this takes, but it's so rewarding for people like me who live so far away to be able to see where a relative has been interred!
With every good wish,

I appreciate your creating the memorials for my 2nd great grand uncle and his wife. Would you consider transferring their memorials to me (ID 47691306), that is, if you are not related to them?
Hugh Lawson Jones (ID 94922251) - my great great grandfather's brother
Susan Howley Weeden Jones (ID 94922324) - Hugh Lawson Jones' wife
Thank you for your help.

Linda, I will gladly transfer him to you. I "am" related but he is my 2nd cousin 3 X removed. He's your direct line so you should manage his memorial.
Can you send me an email. it is firstname.lastname@example.org I think we may have been in touch before.
