I started doing genealogy about 25 years ago off and on. I never knew my father's mother or father and wanted to. I had heard stories about them and became really curious. My dad was only 6 years old when my Grandfater died soooo the search began, and then find-a-grave.

If I can help anyone just let me know and I will do my best.

RE: PollySmith
Becky, Thanks for the reply, I thought Polly's maiden name was Roe, so I'am glad I am on the right track with her.
Thanks again,
Wanda

Polly Smith #33748801
HI, I noticed you managed the memorial for Polly Smith #33748801, buried at Ball Ground Cemetery, Murray County, GA. Do you by any chance know Polly's maiden name?
Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind! I'm going to have to visit Watts Cemetery, as the WPA records I have say he was buried in the McIntyre, but a reading done in 2000 says he is in the Watts.
Sorry!

Hello!
Yes they are buried in the McIntyre Cemetery. I hope to be able to dig for Joseph's stone, as it was there at some time, but I figure it probably fell over and got covered up.
Thanks!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Hello!
I was wondering where you found the info that they are buried in the Watts Cemetery in unmarked graves. My sources say they are buried in the McIntyre / McIntire Cemetery and that at the time it was recorded, Joseph did have a stone.

Thanks!
-Eli

Hope this is of assistance!
