Bio Photo A cemetery is open book of history. Especially old ones. I travel a lot and in every town where I go I visit a cemetery. Thanks to FAG and this virtual cemetery I can pay my respect and leave flowers for some persons I never dream that I could do.

Josef Planinc/Mirogoj Cemetery
Hello Jelena,

Would you be willing to visit Mirogoj Cemetery to take a photo of a grave for me? I am looking for the grave of Joseph/Josef Planinc, who was a brother of my great-uncle Franc. I have a memorial for Joseph (98992636). If you are close to the cemetery and would not mind taking the time to find his grave, I would be most grateful for a photo of the marker if it still exists.

Sincerely,

Chris

Von Schiller
I understand that recently as this week, DNA tests showed that the skulls that are in that tomb, is not Von Schiller. One of the German Historians believed that his body when it supposedly was reinterred at the present cemetary, was not removed in the 1820's as stated by their history books. Thought you would enjoy that little bit of trivia.
