I love my family, research and history. As a find a grave contributor, I find a passion for genealogy and helping others. I would do research for a living, if I thought I could get paid for it. For me cemeteries represent memories, honor and faith that we will once again be together with those we love. |
Like many of you, my relatives rest throughout the United States. Having on-line F.A.G. friends allows us to help each other and link families (although virtually) once again. I would be honored to help you in anyway you may need.
Heritage is not simply names etched in stone, but represent millions of mothers, fathers, children and loved ones that remain in our hearts and blood. Our ancestors live on through stories, photos, and in the faces of our children. Gravestones mark but a small block of time and the ground once claimed as theirs. These things reconnect the present to the past.

I have posted the obituary for Bernard but could not find an obituary for his spouse. I filled in some other information, but was unable to find any medical information. I suggest that you get a death certificate for "cause of death" medical information.

Hi Cheryl, I am sorry to tell you that Kinnie Buckner, site F-54A, does not have a grave stone. You can review this info at www.oldredrockcemetery.com, web site.

Thanks very much for the great gravestone photos. I appreciate your efforts.
I was planning on using the pictures in my family tree on ancestry.com and will include you as the source. I hope that's okay with you, if not, please let me know.
TYVM For the speedy transfer. Have a great day.

|Ash Montagu||Memory Gardens|
I was told that Memory Gardens started perpetual care in 1952. Is that when the cemetery was created or just when they started perpetual care?
I was also told to move any burials to Fairview dated before 1952. I was going by what was on the death certificates.
I haven't contacted the cemetery because many cemetries don't welcome genealogists. I know of one major cemetery in Chicago that post signs saying photographing or copying graves is not allowed and you will be told to leave unless you are a family member.
|Carolyn Walker||RE: Pampa Cemetery|
I recently received an email from someone else stating that the cemetery could be either Fairview or Memory Gardens of Pampa. Miranda's death certificate stated that she was buried in the Pampa Cemetery and her husband's death certificate stated that he was buried in the Pampa City Cemetery. Is Memory Gardens the name of what was their City Cemetery? Has the name been changed down through the ages or was this an error to start with? I am assuming from your email that you know that Miranda Chamblee and her husband, Edd M. Chamblee are actually in the Memory Gardens of Pampa. Please let me know for sure.

May I transfer Shipley's memorial page to you for you to manage? Thanks for the consideration.
