If you are a relative, PLEASE ask me to transfer care of your loved one's memorial to you by sending an email to the address below, but NOT by leaving a message on this page. Please explain your relationship, and I'll be VERY happy to do so. |
I've added the majority of these memorials to assist you in locating your loved one's final resting place. Now that you've found them, PLEASE take advantage of my work.
PLEASE do NOT ask me to add information or link to other memorials. If the information isn't on the monument, I WILL NOT ADD IT.
PLEASE do NOT use the edit tab on this page to ask me to make changes. I will decline them without comment.

Hello, Mr. Labaj,
I received your edit for Mary. Thank you. I have verified the information you sent, and have accepted your edit.
I always check the contributor profiles of folks who send me edits before doing anything with those edits. Based on your profile page, I am presuming that, even though you manage the memorials for Mary's parents, you are not a relative, because you did not ask for a transfer. I also found this:
"PLEASE do NOT ask me to add information or link to other memorials. If the information isn't on the monument, I WILL NOT ADD IT.
"PLEASE do NOT use the edit tab on this page to ask me to make changes. I will decline them without comment."
Although I realize that what happens in reality may be different from what you have posted on your profile page, and see that at least one person thanked you for adding information, I was wondering if you saw any irony in your refusing to add information not on a marker to the memorials you manage, but asking others to add your information to memorials they manage.
Regardless of that, I appreciate any help anyone offers that will increase knowledge about the folks honored in memorials I manage. Because I always verify the edits that are sent to me to the best of my ability, it is my research that is ultimately at issue, not that of the person offering assistance.
Thank you for your work on find-a-grave. I know you've helped a lot of people find their friends and relatives. I also saw that you have posted a lot of photos. You have done an impressive amount of work, for which you have my gratitude.

I am also still working on finding Mary's grave stone for you and hopefully it won't be to long.

I've been wanting this photograph for a long time. My Dad has taken photos in the past while we were visiting out there but the seem to be missing. Thanks again for your help

Don, thank you for replying to my SAC and for explaining the situation to me. All I saw on the index were two memorials with the same dates and names but in different cemeteries. I sent both members a SAC in hope to get the situation resolved.
Thank you for all the hard work you have done for Find A Grave. It is really appreciated by all of us here.

It's no bother, just annoying that I couldn't find her. ;-)
