Thank you so much for the photograph of my Great-Uncle Jim's gravestone in Louisiana (Find A Grave Memorial# 23388500). I appreciate it so much, as it has been many years since I have been able to visit that part of the country. I have many fond childhood memories of my uncle. The work you do is very special to many of us, for so much more than our genealogy.

Candy, Here is the link for that cemetery. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2139958&CScn=central+louisiana&CScntry=4&CSst=20

Thanks for the transfers at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Your directions about what you had already photograph were very easy to understand. Another group had started from the north as well. I got most of the rest of the legible stone in this cemetery into the system except for the far east end where the oldest graves are. I am currently trying to reconcile the cemetery records with the Find A Grave memorials and at least putting the legal descriptions with the graves. Thanks for all your past work in this cemetery. This is much too large of a cemetery for any one person to do alone.
You Have my permission to do anything that will
make things right.

you are correct about Wilburn being the child of Pallie Peevy Arthur. I found the 1910 census at ancestry with Wilburn being the only child at that time. I added the headstone that you had. Thank you so much.
God bless you

Thanks for the reply. Just asking....
|John Bracchi||Martha Drennan Hanes|
I am having a very difficult time reading what's on Martha's headstone which you photographed. Do you have a photo with more resolution or would you please look at your original photo and tell me all that it says?
I am researching the Hanes family and would like to know what's on Martha's stone. The dates and the life length don't seem to compute.
