 | Mem #91252159 Joan:
I contacted Mr Sproles, who was responsible for the 2009 memorial for Jack Sproles Samuels (#39611326) thinking he might be related. I thought that because his surname was the same as Mr Samuels' middle name. However, he assured me they were no relation, as far as he knew. He suggested that you might be related since you added the 2nd memorial in 2012 when there was already a memorial. Sometimes relatives will do that.
I think that Jack Samuels might have been married to a relative and I am trying to prove or disprove that theory.
If you are related or have any contact with a family member, would you give them my message. I am a Find-A-Grave Contributor, #46902461.
Thanks for your time,

 | RE: David George Elliott Joan, A few more updates to my parents, grandparents and great grandparents. Thank you for your continuing effort for correct details.

#103172194 my father David George Elliott's mother should be Elizabeth Scott Pipes Elliott.
#110418190 my grandmother Elizabeth Scott Pipes Elliott should be----daughter of William Henry Pipes 1841-1892 and Sarah Elizabeth McKowen 1841-1911.
#110418081 my grandfather Arthur George Elliott should be-----son of Rufus Octave Elliott 1840-1902 and Louisa Theodora Gause 1842-1917.
Thank you again, Nancy

 | Ferdinand Dietz, Jr. I know his tombstone reads 1869 but he was actually born in 1870. I realized that there were only a few months difference in the birth of Edward in 1869 and Ferdinand. This couldn't be. Besides the 1870 and 1880 Guadalupe County Census establishes that he was born 1870. You might make a notation under the memorial. Believe me, I have found other errors. You might not want to do this, I don't know! | | | David Wright
 | RE: William Gould Hi Joan,
Thanks for your note.
I know his sister was married to a Gould. I don't have any info on her beyond what is in the Find-a-grave memorial I created for her but her name appears as Frances Gould-Anderson on her marker in the National Memorial Cemetery. Her maiden name was Vannote so, I assume, Gould was a previous marriage. Perhaps William Gould was a husband?
In any event, drop a note if I can be of any assistance.
