My name is Wanda Kenley. I have been researching my family tree since 1999. I first got started in genealogy when I was helping my niece with a homework assignment. It wasn't long before I realized that I just couldn't let these people, who are my ancestors, be forgotten. I have been working on it ever since. It's funny that history was always my worst subject in school, but since I have started doing research I find it fascinating. I don't have a lot of resources, so I do most of my research on the internet and at nearby E.K.U. I am adding all the gravesites that I have in hopes that it will help someone else with thier tree. If you happen to find a mistake or that one of your relatives is in my memorials, please feel free to email me--I would love to hear from you and compare notes.
I would also like to thank everyone for their kind words and flowers for my family. You just don't know how much it means to me. May God bless you all. If you have time, please stop by and see my dear dad Albert Kenley, my dear sweet grandparents, John Edward Kenley and Mary Caroline Honerkamp, and my sweet baby kitty, Taz.

Sorry, not Pat.. but I meant to say I have not met any of her children as I only was around her as a child with no memory. My apologies.

Thank you Wanda. Her daughter, Pat and I have never met ironically and being cousins, that is a bit odd. Again, thx.

Thanks for the transfer it is really appreciated.
|David Tarrance||RE: Odie Burden|
Chester Tarrance and my grandfather, Luke Tarrance, were brothers. Danny & Terry are sons of Chester. Terry was either stillborn, or died soon after birth. There is another Terry Tarrance who is a preacher, but I do not know the exact tie-in.

I'll gladly accept her. She was married to a distant cousin of mine.

He is the husband of a distant cousin. If you would like to transfer his memorial, I would love to have it! Thanks!
|William Mattingly||RE: Highfill|
This line of Highfill's are related to me but not within Findagrave guidelines. I learn so much from the memorials and appreciate the ones you have as I do so many of the others.

Thank you so much for replying and for all your work.
|Shirley Hammons Smith||Grant Simpson|
Buried in the Richmond Cemetery in Madison Co., Ky.
I hate to bother you, but I noticed you added the above person and listed him as being buried in the Potters Field. My great aunt, Fannie Livesay, married a Grant Simpson in Rockcastle County, Ky. in 1893. She is buried in this cemetery. but after her death, Grant moved his family out west, (he worked on the railroad and followed them) and he died in California in 1944. I have been in contact with his grandchildren and I know that Grant actually died in California. II just thought if I could find anything at all about this Grant, I would add it to a memorial for him. I just wondered if the poor man was related to the other Grant in some way. I had no luck trying to research births, census records, etc., especially when I have no way of knowing where he lived before dying in Richmond. Thanks if you can help, but especially thank you for all your contributions to Findagrave. Shirley Hammons Smith
