Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm currently back in Wichita and working in the Rosemont cemetery. It seems the transcription list kept by the City of Wichita Falls is inaccurate in who is buried there and if they are there, they have misspelled the names. Smh, even found out there is 3 cemeteries combined into that one, Hebrew Rest, Hillcrest and Rosemont. What a mess! Hopefully I can get all remaining headstones photographed and any memorials added so at least someone doing a name search can find them.
I will gladly transfer the memorial to a family member (unless the person is a member of my family). I surely don't understand some of the contributors who refuse to transfer unless it is by guidelines, what the heck do you want with my great great Aunt? Really...

I spend most of my free time working on my Family history and find roaming old cemeteries is amazing. Some of the headstones I see are nearly unreadable, some are eroded to the point they can no longer be read. This saddens me knowing they are lost forever, no one will ever know who they were. By taking photos and sharing the info, maybe someone who is searching will find what they are seeking.

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on. Cherished memories will never fade, because one loved is gone. Those we love can never be, more than a thought apart, for as long as there is a memory, they live with in our heart.

I have requested that the two memorials be merged so that bio info & links will not be lost.

Thank you so much for the transfer. I don't know much of my family so I am excited to find someone here.

# 111292390 Ferman Ortega

I am hoping this might prove to be my great-grandfather, Fermin Ortega, born about 1880 in Texas.

Buried in the same cemetery is his youngest son, Incarnacion, so it's the first lead I've had on where his father might be buried.

Any idea where I might find any cemetery records? Is there currently a church parish in charge of the cemetery?

Thanks for your time and attention.

Bless you.
