I have found findagrave very useful in my research, and I am trying to give back by adding profiles and photos as I am able. I am glad to transfer memorials if I am not related to them.|
I have interests in Green and Breckinridge Counties in Kentucky, Jackson and DeKalb Counties in Alabama and Morgan, Putnam and Greene Counties in Georgia. Surname interests include Wilson, Bridgewater, Meador, Pile, Payne, Weatherford, Smalley, Williams, Whitmore, Walker, Shepherd, Moseley and Veal.

|Kay Kelly||RE: Polly Petree|
Thank you for the photo of Polly's marker. Harper was her husband, and I have linked them. I wish I had realized earlier that I had never requested a photo of the marker for Polly's brother, Charles H. Kelly (just now requested it) also at Westview.
Appreciate your efforts!

This fall I will be taking my 83 yr old mother on what will probably be her last road trip to Florida by way of Georgia. Rev Patterson was her father in law, my grandfather. I am hoping you can provide me directions to this cemetery. I am having trouble ascertaining exactly where this is located. Also, is there somewhere I can call or write to ascertain exactly where this plot is located?
Thank you for any help you can provide!!

Joe: Just wanted to let you know that I've finally completed Bethel Cemetery. . .whew! I ended up adding more than 200 records, which I hope will be a help to those looking for relatives there. Wanted to thank you for all your hard work AND your prompt reply to all my edits. I hope I didn't drive you too crazy! Thanks again, Patty Shreve
|Julia Wynelle||RE: Aikens|
Yes, Blanche was my grandfather's second wife. His 3rd wife was Murfee Lee Hill Aikens but I don't know where she is buried. I believe you have also supplied photos for my grandmother Julia Timm Aikens, my parents and sister. Thank you many times over!!! There is a request in for a photo of my great grandmother Ella Loring Aikens. There may be more Aikens at Westview that I don't know about, large family. My grandfather was one of ten children. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you so much for the photo of my grandfather's grave. Appreciate your work. The only name of yours that I see in common is Veal. One of my great grandmothers was a Veal married Boyer in Hancock County GA.

Bethel Cemetery: You're most welcome Joe. I recently visited Kentucky and made a trip to Bethel Cemetery and took photographs of all the headstones. It was a glorious sunny morning! I've been loading photographs of some of the same headstones that you'd taken photos of - only because it was nice and sunny. If you'd rather I didn't load duplicates, just let me know. . . and thanks again. I love it when we find those elusive long-lost relatives!
