RE: Alsop-Perry Family Cemetery
Donna, thank you for all the information. Unfortunately we do not live in that area. However it will be valuable information if we can ever make it there for a vacation. I hope to get in touch with the historical society to see about the cd you mentioned. Plus to see if they can tell me how the Perrys & Alsops are related. I know TJ was DS Alsop brother-in-law & Almira was DS wife. So they were all related by marriage. Just don't know how the Perrys figure into the picture.

Thanks again :)

Alsop-Perry Family Cemetery
Hello, I just recently found your record of this cemetery. I was thrilled. One of the people you have listed there is my Great Great Grandfathers brother. I had not been able to locate him till now. I do have a couple of questions. You mentioned something called GFNR. Can you please tell me what that is? Also is the cemetery on private land? I would love to be able to visit it. If possible.

Thank you

RE: Eugene VanArsdall
You're welcome! I believe family ties are important, and that no family member should be forgotten. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Best Wishes, Kaitlyn

RE: Beauregard Tackett
It would be much appreciated if you would transfer his memorial to us. There is some other information that can be entered. The membership number is 48200140.

Again many thanks in helping get all the children linked to the parents.

The Tombstone Inscription book has his birth date as 1902 and that is the date I went with and not the death certificate. I haven't seen the actual death certificate. I found that info on Rootsweb Presents Kentucky Death Records.

RE: Amanda Tingle
Yes, Amanda is in my husband's family that I have been researching for many years. Before she married James Tingle, she was married to my husband's great-great grandfather, Thomas F. Rutledge. He died in 1875 and then Mandy married James Tingle in 1878. Thomas and Mandy had six children, three of whom died in infancy. The sons that lived were Franklin Lafaet Rutledge, Samuel Harrison Rutledge (my husband's great-grandfather), and Charles Edgar Rutledge. After Mandy married James, they had two sons - James Tingle and George Scott Tingle. Do you have any idea who Amanda's parents are? I think her mother was Nancy Antle. Was her father Scott James? They are together in an 1850 census of KY but her name is listed as Antle and she is about 15 years older than Scott. I'd be glad to take over this site if that's okay with you. I don't have much else to add at this time though without knowing who Amanda's father was. I found one tree that has in her Jesse James' family somehow although I couldn't quite figure out how they did that. It was nice talking to you. Please stay in touch!

No, I don't specifically know. where did they send you? I'm thinking maybe a 2nd Baptist cemetery since that is how the churches near by in New Liberty are distinguished. I know a few people in the community who seem to know everything & will see if I can find out.
