I was introduced to Find a Grave about 2000 by a cousin. Together we tried to add as many members of our family as we possibly could. It wasn't long before my cousin became the subject of his own memorial page. Eventually, I realized that there was more I could do than just search for my own family. So, I began trying to add photos whenever I could. Recently I became involved in a cemetery project in my area. A friend and I began searching through the hills, bushes and briers for long abandoned cemeteries, adding what we find to Find a Grave. |
Find a Grave is a great site for people who are researching their family. We have made it our goal to do whatever we can to make it the very best it can be.

Yes mam, I have heard it's a family cemetery that was or is near the Poplar Grove area if that helps. No biggie. Just as the weeks go by and something comes across to you, just keep me in mind.

Hi, you left this message on contributor Hollyann13's page last summer:
Memorial# 90821835 Elsie Sudduth
Just trying every possible way to get in touch with you. In edits I suggested a transfer. I also sent an email. This is my grandmother's sister and the only sibling that I have not been able to link. I would also like to add more info.

Looks like she's inactive.
You can submit an edit to add the parents so this will link her with the rest of the family. If she does not update the link requests in 21 days then they will automatically be linked for you.
You can also send an email to the Edit@findagrave dot com email with a link to the memorial and include the bio information you would like to have added to the memorial.
Hope this helps,

Hi mam, I was wondering if by any chance you knew where the Stewart Family Cemetery in Owen County is or was? I live in Ga with most of my family from Owen County & grant County. But plan on coming back up to Ky for a visit and was hoping to search around a bit if it still existed. Again, just taking a chance and if you do not know, I understand. Thanks --Jerry

Always glad to correct a mistake, for some reason I had a hard time seeing this one!

Glad to be of help, you don't have to give me credit of the photo, it is just a pass time thing to help preserve some of our history. I have just been working in the older sections of the cemetery, and find that there are some newer dates there too. I try to find the basic info on all, but that is not always easy to find!

Donna, I thought that I had already turned Ferdinand over to you, but I see that I had not. I am leaving it up to you to correct this memorial .

I did not do the edits manually. I click the button and let it do itself so if your changes did not go thru resent them and I will manually do them, Phil
