I was born and raised in St. Louis which makes me a die-hard Cardinals fan. I've always been interested in history and geneology, and in particular the preservation and documentation of old cemeteries. Often the old headstones is the only documentation of these peoples lives.

At the moment I am attempting to photo document Lakewood Park Cemetery in St. Louis. If you see errors please use the edit tab provided. I will try to make any corrections or updates as soon as I can.

I am currently trying to document my own family's history and the families I am interested in are the Matlocks, Humes, Graddys and Gregorys.

Regarding the memorials I have created, I am more than willing to transfer these to those folks who are related and want to care for them. My goal is not to just create memorials and keep them under my name - it is to get these graves documented before the stones disintegrate. Even in the best kept cemeteries, documentation is lost, stones are worn away and the information regarding these folks may be gone for ever. So if you see a family member in my memorials, please let me know and I'll be glad to transfer.

Lee, Sect 3, Lot 33A, Grave #1 & #2
Hi. Thank you for your interest in preserving our heritage. Could you please take a photo of the above gravesite? Walden Campbell Lee is #1 and Mary Teppe is #2 (she was widowed and remarried, thus name discrepancy) I am interested in seeing the stone at #1 and if there is any stone at #2. Because I want to get a stone for #2 if there isn't one. Thanks!

RE: Henry Gutzler
Hi Sharon,

You mentioned an infant burial in the cemetery in which my grandfather is buried. I was looking at the on line death certificates since I wanted the cause of death of my grandfather as doctors seem to want to know the family health problems these days. In looking at the death certificates, I found one for a still born child which was the child of my grandfather's half brother and his wife. The death record was dated 1939. I don't know if this the infant burial that you were referring to or not. I hope this helps.
Also, it seems that the picture that you took has disappeared. I as knew to Find-A-Grave so maybe I am doing something wrong?

RE: Ruth Beffa,
I am not sure what to do lol.
There is one child left, but he was young when she passed so I am not sure he would remember where she was buried at. I wonder if the cemetery would know which one she is actually at. It's is just so weird.
& I would love the picture..

She also has a memorial here under her married name.
This is my mother in laws grandma, but so is the one you have under Ruth Beffa. The one you have is with her parents John & Catherine.
