I have researched my family tree off and on for many years. I have recently moved to Northeast Mississippi. I previously lived in the Memphis area and still photograph there often. I'll be glad to help with photo request. I will gladly transfer ownership of memorials I've added to family members, just let me know. My families are Rupprecht, Redditt, Godsey, Vanderford, Hancock and Magers.|

I am writing the first book from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas. These were the biggest paintings in the world, 50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons. Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas.I am researching Richard's ancestor Dr.Andrew James Park (Auburn NY 1826/1916 Oak Park, Illinois),Harvard Medical School Class of 1852. Dr. Park was commissioner of the Palestine Exhibition Company of Chicago, which produced 3 units of JERUSALEM ON THE DAY OF THE CRUCIFIXION panorama in William Wehner's studio, located in downtown Milwaukee in 1886 (Chicago debut),1887 (Minneapolis debut)and 1888 (Buffalo debut, later London). Much info to share.
I am working on our Bethuel Cemetery in Kerrville, Tn. and I don't want to overwhelm you with the updates. I am sick with the flu and sitting here working on getting the burials there completed.
My family is buried there and we continue to bury there and I am just helping gather all of the info. The little cemetery was at one time a churchyard cemetery. The church was up front when you first come into the drive but it burned down. One of my relatives would go to the old church that was heated by wood before services in the winter and start the fires so the church would be warm for services. My grandmother attended this church and is buried there along with many of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Thank you so very much for your photo. It is such a joy to find a missing relative and have at least a photo of their headstone in memory of their life. Jacque
