Please let me know if I have made any errors and I will correct them. I am happy to add information to any of the memorials.|
Please use the edit tab on the memorial page for corrections, additions or transfers.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. (FAG guidelines) If you can, please request changes through the edit tab on the memorial.
This is such a great way to find all those people who have gone before us and just get lost over the succeeding generations.
I look forward to finding many more of my own "lost" relatives that have gone before me and are waiting to be found in a little cemetery somewhere. I hope that I may have found some of yours here in Charles Mix County.

Hi Becky, I noticed you had a memorial for Albert LaPointe #156687029 created on 1/3/2016 at the Advent Cemetery. There is a memorial for Albert LaPointe #133680309 at the same cemetery created by F Priam on 8/20/2014. Would you please correct this. Thank you. Patsy LaPointe
|James Gruenwald||Charles M Gruenwald|
I am his son James living in San Diego.
Children of Dad's 1st wife Emma Getz: Candas born 1922 est, died 2005 est, Eileen born 1924 died 1960's est.
Children of Dad and his 2nd wife Catherine: Max is listed, James (myself) born 1939.
I noticed Dad's 2nd wife Catherine (my Mother) showing her Father as John Anderson 1863-1944 is not correct in my memory. Name John Anderson is correct. He was Grandpa to me as a kid staying with us (Dad, Mom, myself) in the 1950's. Grandpa said he was born 1865 in Dubuque, IA. He passed away in 1957 or 1958.
My email: email@example.com
Thank you for fulfilling my request a photo of Yvonne's marker. I greatly appreciate it.

Hi, just wanted to tell you, that you have this memorial listed two times, so you might wish to delete the duplicate.

Last year Connie Koppelman transferred this memorial to me. You have contributed a duplicate memorial in May along with a headstone. Will you please tell me if you are related to this Rosaline. She wants me to transfer the earlier memorial back to her and for you to delete/merge the duplicate with hers. I want to make sure I am doing the "right" thing. Thank you.
|Jodi B||RE: Update|
I didn't get to St Paul this last trip to complete it, but other than some outstanding edits, St Peter north of Delmont should be complete (hopefully!). I also added recent headstones to Hope, Zion and Demont City cemeteries. But I noticed the St Paul duplicates while working with someone to try and figure out the John/Rosa Beck duplicates.

Thanks Becky. Could you also delete #64764111. It is a duplicate of #64764111 in one of the other St Pauls that has more info, a headstone picture and was entered first. I'll send a request to the owner of that one to move it to the other St Paul. I've also sent a request to the owner of the one memorial left in the other St Paul you just cleaned up. Once the other 2 are empty I'll ask admin to delete them and fix the county on the remaining one.

|Jodi B||RE: All the St Pauls!|
The duplicates are in Saint Pauls Lutheran Cemetery listed under Delmont, Douglas county (incorrect county that needs to be changed to Charles Mix) and Saint Paul's Lutheran Cemetery listed under Wagner, Charles Mix county. As an example, look at #117231140 & #150963715. They are the same person entered once in each of the St. Pauls that are duplicated.

Thanks for checking the Freisland Cemetery for me. I think I found Lijsbet Hayes Koyenga Dykstra wife of Pieter Dykstra. I'm not sure how to verify it though. If you have any ideas it is #143074830 in Iowa, Cass County, Atlantic Cem. We do have record of her death in Iowa, near her daughter in 1897. With all the different names she has been under this does fit. Eliza Dexter. She has been Dijkstra, Dykstra, Dexter (and 4 others for maiden name) Her first name has been Lijsbet, Lisjbeth, Elisthe, Elizabeth, Lizzie. I will keep researching! I will be in SD in July and will be doing some cemetery searches and if I fly in to Omaha this will fit with driving plans.

|Twyla F||RE: Ferwerda|
DONE!! Thanks, that was quick. A little harder to finder her now as she doesn't come up with Ferwerda. But she does come up with Oliver so it works. I did find information yesterday on the Davenport marriage if you want that for any reason. They both remarried.
