I started researching my family history, "Bremmers-Sharpe-Blanco-Johnson-Rice-Carty," first. Thanks to my Aunt Winnifred and Uncle Vernon Jones.|
When I married Chris, his family wanted to know about their family history, "Best-McPherson-Christopher-Bennett-Waldron-Ross".
So the hunt for information was on. I have learned that the stories that were past down from family members, are not always rosy or true. I have unlock doors and looked inside and things that I have found, sometimes have taken my breath away. I learned to scan family photos, put old movies, videos, slides on DVD because when someone passes away, things always sprout legs and walks off, they are lost forever, along with family stories.
I always travel with computer, scanner, small tape record, camera, video camera and a good and understanding husband.

You left me an edit to remove name Dena as middle name.
It is not listed as a middle name but is listed in quotes meaning it is a nickname. It is that way on tombstone.

Snyder is not that small of a town. I'm not sure exactly what is available, but there are several motels to choose from. The Snyder Cemetery is a fun place to walk around. It has many of the older markers for this area. If you come for a visit, you should have a good time.

I am sorry to say, that I have walked the whole cemetery, and found no Newton Woodyard. I did find a Newton Woodyard, dob. 1830 dod. 1911 and who is married to Amanda M. Are you sure you posted the right information. There are plenty more Woodyard's interred here. I have walked this cemetery many of times and I have lived here in Manassas all my 52 years. My grandparents and great grandparents are interred there along with aunts, and uncles. I am sorry I couldn't be of any help.

By luck I found the grave of August and his wife. It is NOT in St. John's Cemetery, but in Christ Lutheran Cem. in West Salem, Wisconsin, a short distance from St. John's in Barre Mills. I was looking for other graves there and came upon August's stone. Guess August wanted to be found! :)

You are right. I will do better research. Thank you!
|Sue Tanner||Anna Marie Timm|
Hi, So I have created the memorials for Artilda, James and the above. I linked Anna Marie to her husband Theo B. LaRue with a photo of her marker on her page. Sue
Hi, so a couple of things. Retaking them, I found some people I did not find the first time. From what I see--no memorial has been created for AnnaMarie Timm--wife of Theo. B. Larue 1881 to 1933.
I can create one for her if you wish, will leave it up to you.
Also, Artilda and James LaRue. Any relation? John Guyot LaRue also.
Let me know. They are all buried in Riverside Park. Sue
|Sue Tanner||RE: LaRue|
I know that about photos. I know I uploaded him and 2 wives.
I can't figure out what happened. I will worry about it later.
