Hi Kristi. I'm so excited and am sure Karen and possibly her sister Barbara will get in touch with you really soon regarding their grandfather George W. Hoke who passed away before either of them was born. They do remember their grandmother, Amelia, well. Thank you so much!! My Best, Kathie

You're welcome, Kristi.

You are very welcome glad I could help. You could contact the cemetery grounds keeper and see if Anne and Thomas are buried in Oak View cemetery if so I'd be happy to go back and take a photo for you even if they don't have a grave marker.

You're welcome for the photo...I was glad that we were able to find his stone this time. Don't know how we missed it last trip!
|Taweret||RE: Hey there|
Hope things settle down with you soon and it all works out. The new claimer of the photo request is also in GH and will be joining us as part of our carpool to Mt View.

|Taweret||Hi there fellow graver|
I see you got in contact with Kathy on that photo request for Gig Harbor Cemetery. It's great to know there's another in the GH area that likes to visit cemeteries. Kathy and I tackled Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor together and then took on Calvary in Lakewood. I'm heading up getting some local folks together to do Mountain View in Lakewood starting in May 2013. Perhaps earlier if the weather is good. If you'd be interested in helping out, please let me know.

Well - - best I can tell you is MAYBE there is an inscription on the back of or side of his wife's stone... See 70149093 - for Caroline Weeks Robertson Rowley.
When you enter the cemetery - there is a road to the left - - that goes down about 200 foot (my guess) - - then a path to the left that goes back in the woods and there are many old stones about 200-300 foot down the path - - most are on the right side of the path - - a few on the left side ...
Caroline's stone is very distinctive - - on the right side of the path - maybe 5-10 foot off the path...
I have been there many times - - and there are some stones that I just cannot locate..
Good Luck.. Anxious to hear back ......... Kathy
