I began researching my ancestry in 1976 at the age of 23. I was extremely lucky to still have many living grandparents, great aunts and uncles whom shared so much information, photo's, and stories with me. They have filled my life with the love of searching for more..."Family Ties are Precious Bonds that passing Time endures..." from poem by Elizabeth M. Gerus|
NOTE: You have my permission to use any photo I've taken and posted on FAG in your own family research. A note of credit would be appreciated, but not neccessary. I'm photographing to share and for others to use...

If you do not like the photo that I have added to this memorial, I will take it down. (But I hope not because I love it.) Also, her daughter called me this morning and told me that there was an error in the original obituary that she had failed to call to my attention. If you don't mind, please fix it. In the line that tells about her grandchildren, Chad and Jessica Mullins, J.J. Deaton and Layne Mullins should read as follows:
Chad and Layne Mullins, J.J.Deaton and Jessica Deaton. Thank you so much, sorry for the extra trouble. Lynette

Good photo. Thank-you. Is this the east side? Also, will you transfer this to me? He's my maternal first cousin's son. Thank-you.
|Marc Thayer, III||Bertha Jane Kidder Thayer|
I had to do some extensive digging in my records to get the actual facts about "Bertha" Jane (Kidder) Thayer that was the second wife of Webster Thayer.
Her "real" name is Isabel Jane Kidder and she was born on October 2, 1869 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Her parents are: Charles E. and Emma L. (Sargent) Kidder. She does appear in the 1870 census with her father as Isabel J. Kidder.
Strangely enough there are a lot of folks in the household and some with the last name
of "Brewer". They are John G. and Isabell Brewer.
Charles E. Kidder and Emma L. Sargent were married on December 16, 1868 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Charles parents are listed as Timothy E. and Sarah Kidder. Emma was listed as being born in 1850.
Hope this helps to clear some things up.

Sue: I have posted a photo of Joseph Trusty's headstone to his memorial in Corpus Christi Cemetery. There was no headstone for Mary and Corpus Christi cemetery records do not show her buried in any plot in the cemetery. If I can help in any other way, let me know. Leta
