20 YEARS ON FINDAGRAVE ON DECEMBER 12!! :)

PLEASE: Be kind, patient, and respectful. Everyone on this site is volunteering their own time to contribute, help others in their research, and remember those who have gone before us. We all have lives outside of FindAGrave, so give contributors a break when making requests, edits, and sending messages. Rude or disrespectful messages will be ignored.

DUPLICATE PHOTOS: Please do not be offended if I posted a duplicate photo of a grave of which you also posted a photo. I often photograph entire rows at a cemetery and then those which already have photos sometimes get applied to established memorials by myself or volunteer transcribers. If it bothers you, politely ask me to delete them and I will do so.

If you have a chance, please visit the grave of my sweet, amazing grandmother Letha Mae Wofford who passed away on June 9, 2020. She was my mother figure, teacher, counselor, and best friend.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA // 30 years old
I've been doing genealogy since I was 7 years old and a member of FindAGrave since 12 :)

Board Member, East Union Cemetery, Manteca, California
My paternal grandfather Doroteo "Denny" Asuncion immigrated to the US from the Philippines in 1928. He was part of the first generation of Filipino agricultural workers to come to California. Therefore, I have a special interest in documenting and preserving the graves of immigrants from Asia, particularly those before World War II. I have worked with the Chinese Benevolent Association of Stockton to document and research its affiliated Chinese Cemetery in French Camp. I have also focused on many other Chinese and Japanese cemeteries, as well as locating the graves of early Filipino immigrants. In July 2021, I completed a full photographic survey of the Hoy Sun Ning Yung Cemetery in Daly City/Colma and have ongoing projects for other nearby Chinese cemeteries.

I can read surnames and dates fairly well on gravestones that are completely written in Chinese, but I could always use translation help for given names and other biographic information. Please message me if you would like to help :)

My maternal grandparents are from Oklahoma. I have done a lot of work with their family cemeteries there.

CENTER CEMETERY, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma: In June 2007, my grandmother and I did a complete photographic survey of Center Cemetery where her family is buried. I have also done extensive research into its history and unmarked burials. If you have any questions about this cemetery or would like to donate to its maintenance, please contact me.
