Transfer Request
Could you please transfer the memorial for Minnie Celmer #106898019 to me? She was my great grandmother. Thank you.

This IS him! Just found an article about his death down here on the Alcona Genealogy Society website! I'm going to connect him to his wife and send you edit requests through the system!

Linda, I noticed you created memorials for the Chiritree family buried in Springport cemetery, Alcoa County, MI. I think I may have documented the grave of the father Eugene Chiritree (memorial here: I see Eugene with the family up through the 1900 census and then he disappears. The one problem is that the year of death is wrong. Consistently, from the 1855 New York census when he is one, right up to the 1900 Alcoa County census where he states he was born January, 1854, the year never changes. THIS Eugene has the same month, but the year is two years off. I found NO obituary for this Eugene in the local papers and there is no Eugene Chiritree on the local census of 1900 and no Chiritree widow on the 1910 here. Unfortunately he died when Louisiana didn't require death certificates and the cemetery he is in has no records that I am aware of. Would like your opinion on whether this is Mary's husband or not!
