I have added the family links and the obit you provided. Please let me know if you are related, and I will be happy to transfer the memorials to you.
Thanks for the additional info.

No need for special thanks. I LOVE this kind of stuff. I wrote a book about Winona county cemeteries and had the most fun walking all of them (84!) but two which were inaccessible. Any kind of ancestry project is more than welcome. Right now I am researching a family for a man from Australia that I "accidentally" met online and asked if he would mind my helping. I have sent him 6,000+ records over the last four months. - Cindy

Thanks for the links to John's parents that you provided. They have been made and no I'm not related.

|Andrew Daft||Vincent Gauchel|
I noticed your photo request for Vincent Gauchel at Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine. I'm planning a visit there soon, but unfortunately I won't be able to search the whole cemetery. If you can contact the cemetery office and get the plot location and then add it to the memorial, I should be able to get a photo for you. The cemetery's contact info can be found at racinecemeteries.org.

I am very distant family - Anna is the sister of my great grandfather John Stener Johnson (1854-1896)
Thank you for your assistance with Rudolph's page. If you would like to send an obit, I'll post it. Please include the publication and date with the obit.

The speed in which you responded was amazing! Interesting story about the trunk... Some day when someone comes to claim one of these memorials, you'll wish you had saved it for them!!

|Arlys Walvatne||Albert Watne|
Albert was married first to Beatrice Sand Watne before marrying Ida Caroline Gipp. Beatrice mother Tina Karina Jermeland who married Jacob Sand was the daughter of John O and Thone Jermeland. John O Jermeland married to Serina and they had a son named Theodore Jermeland who was my husband's Grandfather.
I tell you this because I was wondering if you had a picture of Beatrice and Albert and one of Albert and Ida--if so would you be willing to share it as my son and I are doing our family history and we find that there are not much photo's available. The pictures would be greatly appreciated.
My regular email address is Arlys43@comcast.net
Hope to hear from you. Arlys
Hi: My Great Great Grandfather was Andrew Whalen who I believe was the brother of John Whalen of Battle Creek who died in 1907. I believe they are buried near one another. Is there anyway you can confirm this? Also I thought there parents were John and Mary from Marshall Calhoun. I'm thinking Catherine is their Grandmother. She actually died on June 7th 1881 not Jan 7. I received this information from St Philips Church. Also they told me she was 98 when she died.
Thanks Jeff Whalen

Thanks so much for the corrections & additional info on Nicholas & Elisabeth Braun. I've passed on the correction for John Nicholas Braun to Diane Nelson-Roberts, who posted his memorial.
