I am the oldest of 7 daughters and have 3 daughters myself. I became very interested in family history when my mother died and left me with a lot of records that she had painstakingly gathered through cemetery strolls and interviews. I have since digitalized all these records and added to them. As anyone visiting this site knows, genealogy is addictive. I call it my guilty pleasure and was delighted to recently discover this website. If you would like a transfer and are more closely related than I am, I will gladly transfer the memorial. Just click on the edit tab and explain your relationship. I am also delighted to receive corrections and additional info. It will be quickly posted. If the info is different than what is on the stone, please tell me your source. I don't mind if you use my photos. Help yourself!|

I don't know Milton's birth date only that he was younger than Edna. Guess she was a cougar back then. LOL. Edna's birth date was March 1894. I remember if you asked Edna her age she would say 69 and she could have passed for that only she was probably 85 at the time. She could still bend over and place her hand flat on the floor. She was flexible and had a long waist and short legs. Anyway I digress. I would go with Milton's birth date on his tombstone. I know Edna's is different because she was the child right behind my grandfather in birth order and her brother Mackie had the 1897 birth date. The full Meyers siblings all died in almost reverse birth order with the exception of Edna who was the last to go.

I'm needing some help understanding a memorial, please. John Cox Memorial #74068411.
John is listed as dying 27 February 1838 in Randolph County, North Carolina but he is buried in Whetstone Cemetery, in Louden, Whitley County, Kentucky.
My records have no relationship to Kentucky. Have you seen the headstone? Or is it possible that he was mistakenly entered in a Kentucky cemetery.
Hope you can set me straight.

Alvin was my mother's last surviving brother, my uncle. I would like to insert a copy of your photo of his gravestone in a family history I'm writing. My mother is Melba Jewel Franklin Anthony. We attended his funeral.May I have your permission to take a screen shot of the picture and paste it in my document? I'll be glad to include a credit if you want me to cite your name. Thanks! Beth Anthony Lightbown. I'm not sure how you would communicate with me. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org

I just attached Hannah (Gregg) Jones to her husband Nathan. Since Nathan Jones has been linked to both ancestors and some descendants, I wondered if you are directly related. If so, I'd happily transfer management of Hannah's memorial to you. Vicki Peterson
