Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching the different branches of my family tree. Maternal Rose, Kuhns, Drylie, Muse, & Silvis. Paternal any descendants or ancestors Of Christian & Charlotte King and Isaac/Isaiah and Emma Conover & John and Rebecca Wallace. I have traced some of these lines back to England, Germany, Scotland, Ireland as far back as 1410. I became a grave hunter when a family story led me on a search for the grave of a child who was born in 1884 and died in 1888 between census records, the church where he was baptized burned losing all records, there was not mandatory birth registration so there was no proof he ever existed. I have now been involved in a tombstone project photographing entire cemeteries in my area. My friend Franny and I have photographed 130 cemeteries in Allegheny, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania however getting them all uploaded to Find A Grave has proven to be a very long and slow process so if anyone out there is looking for someone who could be buried in this area please don't be afraid to ask it is possible one of us already has a photo. For anyone out there doing the same thing--- THANK YOU.

It never ceases to amaze me that people will just create a cemetery with out checking to see if it is already up. If I took a picture in Cemetery A. but there is paperwork saying burial in Cemetery B. I go with Cemetery A. where there is a tombstone the family has paid for. As for government documentation we all know the government never makes mistakes.

MY MEMORIALS ARE MADE FROM INFORMATION ON THE TOMBSTONES I PHOTOGRAPH. I HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING IF THE TOMBSTONE IS ACCURATE. IF YOU SEND ME A CORRECTION THAT CONFLICTS WITH THE TOMBSTONE INFORMATION PLEASE SEND ME A COPY OF THE SOURCE YOU USED TO SEND THE CORRECTION THANK YOU

Kathi,
Watching for the updates. Unfortunately, I don't have time to research all the family. I don't spend much time with Find A Grave anymore. Once you cross the 70 yard line arthritis sets in and the body has issues. In addition, I use FAGs beta program and my 75 volunteers to do the computer work. With over 300 thousand pix, You can imagine how much time is involved with all the edits and corrections there are.But as you send yours in, I will try to get to them. Hopefully Find A Grave will allow a backup one day.Someone who can act as a secretary to a shooter like what I do.

Guffey's in Round Hill
Hi Kathi
I realize how i duplicated some of the Guffey memorials... the cemetery records had name as GUFFY when i entered them, that is the spelling i used. I changed the spelling of the name by an edit and didnt check further.
Do you know if it is possible to MERGE the following memorials? I do not care if they are mine or not. It would be unfortunate if links or information was lost.

James Lowery Guffey merge 124051455 with 80403890

John Dickey Guffey merge 124052058 with 115377271

James M. Guffey merge 152112206 with 115369383

Mary Scott Guffey merge 124052081 with 80403993

Robert Campbell Guffey merge 152125699 with 124051935

Thanks
C. Walker

Some of the family have provided additional info that is not on the other memorials. I will transfer either to you or to the originator of the other stomes. And I know that I sent you this in the past...I am a shooter. I visit a cemetery and take pictures up to a thousand a visit. I then use the Find A Grave transcribers to build the memorial.
Supposedly Find A Grave eliminates dups ...but its not happening. Bill

On the lot Sec. E lot 21 in Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, Washington County Pennsylvania with Annabelle and Thomas are 2 infants one died and was buried on Mr 4 1893 and the other died and was buried Jan 29 1896. Would you know anything about these 2 infants that would help fill in their memorials?

cemeteries without boundaries
Kathi,
As you alert me to an incorrect cemetery I have been deleting the file. Which opens the door for a new memorial at the correct cemetery. But as I delete them the pic is lost. If you create the memorial and want to copy the pic, its ok by me.
If not a new pic can be taken Bill
