I was born and raised 4 miles N.E. of Altoona, Ks on our family farm. I served 2 years in the Army [52-53] with 18 Mo. in Japan in Meteorology . I married Ann Woodruff May 28th.1950 in Altoona, Ks. We lived in Neodesha from 1952 until 1966 when we moved to Wichita for 27 yrs. I retired from Phillips PipeLine in June of 1993, when we moved to the Rural Independence Ks. area. In 2008 we sold our property there and moved to Neodesha, Ks to a smaller place.
