Alice Courtney's parents have been linked per your request. Would you like me to transfer management of the Alice Courtney memorial to you? I see there is a Medlock relationship.

The pictures you posted for the "New Hill Baptist Church Cemetery" Index Page need to be posted to the "New Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery" Index Page. These two cemeteries are in the same community, but are separate. I will have the originals removed once FindaGrave management returns from the holiday weekend. Thanks for all of you do, Debra (Lost History)

Thanks but I went back to those graves because I wanted to make sure nothing had happend to them. I've been there years ago and that could have been 20 years ago. But they are in terrible shape. I plan on going back and cleaning up around them. I looked up the owners and it seems to be some group called Ebenezer Property Services, LLC and Manaza Enterprises, Inc. at a PO Box 5811, Lighthouse Point, Fla. Do you know anything about them or who might they be??
And to your question about other graves, yes there are other graves possibly 3 more. My husband took those pictures for me because I'm highly alergic to vines of anykind. So I stayed in the truck but I did spot them going down the dirt road. You can only see one grave from the road if you know where to look or what your looking for. I plan on getting permission to clean it and keep it clean from the land owners and hopefully make an entrance. It also has a nice fence around the graves I'd like to fix. I'm just glad I finely found them again and saw their okay and haven't been destroyed in anyway.
Not sure if I told you but this Robert Lewis Medlock is my Great,Great Grandfather and I have a picture of him and of one of his daughters and one son. I'll put their pictures on his site tonight.
I hate to be long winded but how are you kin to the Medlock family? Do you know my mother or granddaddy. My mother is Myrtle Mae Medlock, and her daddy was Ethington Joshua, they called him Tobe. His father was John D. Medlock, Robert's son.
My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org and I'm on Facebook under my name Carolyn Peel Prescott. I live in Chipley so if you come this way look me up.
Glad you are enjoying the pictures,

Thank you so much for taking a photo of this couple's tombstone. I was beginning to wonder if my assumption that they were buried in Hillcrest Cemetery was correct. You confirmed what I suspected because Jacob's father, John Thompson Walker, is buried in Hillcrest.
This family is important to me because John Thompson Walker is my great great great grandfather and he and his son, Jacob Rujus Walker, and his wife, Helen Nancy Yates Walker, were the founders and owners of the Walker Hotel in Cary until her death in 1922. I believe the hotel is called the Paige-Walker Hotel now. I'm trying to gather information together for the museum at the hotel concerning the Walker family. I don't have any photos of this family but I'm glad to know their tombstones are available.
