There are many memorials that I have added because so many small cemeteries are disappearing. I have visited cemeteries in many counties. Some that are in terrible shape and some that are very well cared for. I know I will never visit them all, so I decided to concentrate on just Pitt County. I then decided to follow in the footsteps of a great man of Pitt County, William "Bill" B. Kittrell. His great cemetery survey work has been my map to many of the graves I have taken volunteer photos of. Some cemeteries that he documented no longer exist, but his cemetery surveys are a great resource to us all. I try to add a little more information, like family links, more information, and picture|
As per Find a Grave rules: TRANSFER REQUESTS should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Please state your relationship when requesting a transfer. Please use the Suggest a Correction link to request a transfer.
Also use the "Suggest a correction" feature to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials. Be sure to include the memorial ID#s for the family links and how they are related, father, mother or spouse. I will be happy to make corrections, provided the information is accurate.

Thanks so much for the pictures of the gravemarkers of my grandmother and her husband, Mr. Stancill. It is a most appropriate tribute near the anniversary date of her death, Oct 11!
Thank you for fulfilling my request for a photo of Katherine's marker. I greatly appreciate it.
