Started researching the family roots about 1990. researching the names ROBERTSON, WAGGONER, DECKARD, SEXTON, HAMMOND, ALEXANDER, BROWN, SWANGO, GIBSON, COWLES, TAYLOR, VANCE, AND GRAMLIN. Have just recently started taking digital cemetery pictures of stones to add to family tree collections. |
I decided to start contributing these pictures on line to share with other's in search of these Ancestors.
These bios and pictures may not be published for sale or sumitted to websites that charge a subscription.
Please send any corrections or pictures via "EDIT" button and I will correct or add to these collections and give credit to the person submitting. If you are a family member of one of my postings and would like ownership to add bios or pictures feel free to do so.
These entries are dedicated to our two sons, grandchildren and future generations in search of their roots.
Have been working 5 years on photographing & posting WALNUT RIDGE CEMETERY, JEFFERSONVILLE, IN to FAG.
DO NOT USE BLEACH TO CLEAN WHITE MILITARY STONES AS IT WILL TURN THEM YELLOW AND THE DAMAGE CANNOT BE UNDONE.

Thank you, Janet, for taking pictures of Kenneth and Irene Ballard graves. I appreciate the work you do.

Well, by the looks of James Howell Sumner's Find A Grave page, you did very well. I did see there was another memorial for him that included other military info as to what happened at the time of the helicopter crash...... Did you see that?

Hey Janet:Did you notice the pine cones strategically placed? I think his was the one in several I snapped yesterday that was covered and hidden from long pine needles. It had lots of dirt on it as well so I had to clean, sweep, rub and blow all the debris from to get a nice shot. His tablet looked so much more inviting with a little "tlc". He is worth it!!! And I'm happy to help.

You have a request for a pic in my area at Eternal Hills Cemetery, Oceanside, CA.
Please contact the cemetery and secure plot location, then edit into this database as you are more likely to get a volunteer to go out there.
In the past I've called the local cemetery to assist only to find the requestor assumed their deceased was either buried here or another county cemetery and it just ended up wasting my time.
If you get the plot location edited, I will make that attempt for you.

Good to hear from you. The nice thing with Find A Grave is when the plot has Lat & Long listing you just click on it and it will bring up a google map with an arrow at that lat & long location. Hope that helps you.
At present I am trying to document all graves in Spencer Add. with photo & Lat/Long.
