Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became involved in genealogy when my oldest child needed one last Boy Scout Badge and Family History seemed easy. I called my aunt who was the keeper of my dad's family "flame" to get some information. My son got his badge and I got hooked, (now I'm the keeper of that "flame") That was about 40 years ago. I am a widow now with 4 children and 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The photo was taken when I was 18, so don't let it throw you. I hope my children will someday be interested. I believe it is important to keep a record of where our ancestors are buried ( but please ask permission to use my photo's) and this is just the place. Thanks. (I have recently had a Stroke, so please forgive my slowness.) Robin

Juanita Fife
Hi Robin,
Hope you are well. Our mother, Juanita Fife, 86, has dementia (3) years. She is at home with caregivers. I was thinking about you and wanted to say hello. Give me a call sometime.

Bolin
Are you related to William Bolin? who married Susan Hood? I have a feeling that William could be a brother to my Eli Bolin born abt 1782 to 1785 in Virginia. He winds up in Ross and Fayette Counties OH. He names a son William Perry Bolin and I noticed that some of William who married Susan's descendants end up in the same cemetery in Columbus OH as my William Perry Bolin's son Herman/Harmon E Bolin. wondering if there is a connection

Hi Robin.
I believe this Ada Plymale is a duplicate of Ada Cora Plymale Jones. 66311365. Please check it over and if you think I am incorrect, please let me know.
Thanks

Humphrey's in Ohio
Robin, I'm not writing about them because I just sent some edits, etc yesterday and this morning.

I just wanted to tell you that I wholeheartedly agree with you about each generation recording their family's history; about their grandparent's parents, where lived and a little something about them. I've done that for mine, but I had to 'dig it out.' Doesn't have to be a fancy book...just write it down and save it.

Like you, I'm retired, have lived the greater part of my years, and I regret never having asked questions when I was young...I think youth
thinks time is forever...but it passes so quickly.
I never knew any of my great-grandparents--only that my paternal grt-grandparents died in Texas...my mother, an inlaw, had preserved a her 'metal picture bread-box' a piece of paper with only their names and date of birth and death. But I found their graves, then saw photos; just wonderful help I had on here.

So, let's keep telling our children and grandchildren stories about their unknown family, and just "one of them" might carry that flame. winnie

RE: Thomas Cozad
Sorry, I had sent a previous edit and had said she was 5 years old instead of 5 months. Now, I don't remember who the parents were. It'll come to me!

Thanks!
