Bio and Links
Bio Photo I served in the Army and Army Reserve for over 25 years with more than 15 years in the public affairs arena.
My experience runs the gamut from working at the U.S. Army Field Station at Camp Humphreys, Korea to running the day-to-day operations of the Press Camp Headquarters at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
Various positions have included work as a newspaper editor, educational publications, community and media relations, as well as marketing.
For the past three years I have been dedicating time to findagrave.com primarily adding records for my extended family, friends and veterans' and local cemeteries.
Additionally, in late 2012 I completed my application and was accepted into the Daughters of 1812, my first lineage society.

Teel Transfers
I am not related to either Louise Harrington Teel, Memorial #86719597, or her husband, Willie, Memorial #86719755, or anyone else in their family. I've been photographing an old cemetery and doing a cursory search for the inhabitant of each grave I photograph in order to link family members. I'm currently working on the Harringtons and that's how I came to request links for Louise to her parents.
I appreciate the fact that you're willing to transfer memorials - so many 'gravers' act like each and every memorial is a precious member of his/her family and refuse to transfer, sometimes even according to Find A Grave guidelines. I'll care for these and hope someone close to one or the other will come along to claim them. Or, if you wish, I'll be glad to transfer back to you.
Again, thank you for this most generous gesture.

RE: Mary Gaie
Thanks Mary Ann. I have added the photograph to the 2nd memorial for Mary Gaie. You can have the duplicate memorial removed when you are ready.

RE: Today at FLNC
Thanks! Great job on all the transcriptions. Some of those headstones are very hard to read. They were hard to read when I was standing in front of them. My compliments on transcribing them from the photo.

Mabel Finnigan 3662798
Mary Ann,
I was out at FLNC section F today. I discovered and issue with the VA gravesite locator. Mabel A Finnigan memorial number: 3654793 is listed as section F plot 177. I was there today and that is actually Harriet Olney #3661798. Mabel's husband is section P plot 177. I checked the VA locator and it has Mabel as Section F. I am pretty sure that Mabel is with her husband in section P. Is there a way to update the VA locator? I have updated the Find A Grave memorial before but only after I went to the actual gave location or the VA locator was different. -AGS
