Find-A-Grave is a great web site. It allows one to search for an ancestor without having a local cemetery index book.|
We know how difficult it is to research when living out of state. We have met many helpful people that we consider friends and family. That is the reason we enjoy giving back by being a Photo Volunteer.
Over the years we have collected some 6,000 photos. In an attempt to not have them lost and forgotten, we are placing them here on Find-A-Grave for others searching to find. When we find that a Memorial Page has not yet been created, we will create one. If someone is your family and you wish to manage their Memorial Page we would be happy to transfer them to you.

|Fran Billings||Paul David Taylor|
Hi, my name is Frances Billings. Could you possibly correct the record of Paul David Taylor as he is listed as son of Samuel Brantley and Ellen Taylor. He is grandson of Samuel Brantley and Ellen Taylor. He is the son of Bert Adrian and Pearl Elizabeth Taylor. Bert and Pearl are my grandparents. Paul was my uncle. Thank you so much for your work.

|Richard David Wright||Wrong photo on site|
The photo on 75497649 is not Jackson Nunnally. It is Early Pierce Wright. If you click on, Early Pierce Wright on that site and go to Early Pierce Wright's site, you will see another photo posted by Wanda Stewart. In the photo is a tall man with a hat, a lady holding a baby. The tall man is Jackson Nunnally, the lady is Lou Bynum Wright, and the baby is Zelma Wright.
Wanda has the photos reversed.
The photo on Early Pierce Wright's which was posted by E.L. Wright, Ph.D., is the a photo of Early Pierce Wright. Jackson Nunnally married my grandmother's sister and Uncle Jackson's father married one of my great-great aunts.
Wanda is also related to me through the Wright family line.

|Carl Kilgore||Kilgore Graves at Crestwood|
Thank you so much for posting the grave site of my paternal grandparents, Carl and Corrie Kilgore. I did not know my grandfather, but "Mama Corrie" was a very special lady and grandmother to several, several grandchildren in the Kilgore family.

Hi, Thank you for all you have done on find a grave. You are truly a blessing to a lot of us. this Viola Messer Pruitt who married James Hosea Pruitt. How sure are you of the Messer. This is supposed to be my grandmothers sister. everything matches except her maiden name was Mobley. She could have married and I not know it. Thank you again and god bless. Linda

I can't express my gratitude to you in words. Your time and consideration gave me so much. I don't know how you where able to add the newspaper articles, but I have found my fathers family from your thoughtfulness. They have been looking for me for years. I'm his only child and I'm all they have left of him. I was six when he was killed in the car accident and have never known them. I honestly can't thank you enough. I'm finally complete at 45 yrs old. Thank you for the photo of his grave, and thank you for going the extra step to provide the newspaper articles.
|Denise Johnson||Mary Etta Sitz|
You have my grandmothers name wrong. It should be Mary Ella Sizemore Sitz. Please correct.
|Pamela Thompson||Gravestone Photos Permission|
Thank you for photographing the Alford gravestones of James Thomas Alford in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. I appreciate it.
I would like to add these gravestone photos to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Alabama Obituaries, where their obituaries are (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/ALOBIT.htm.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:
Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, GGS[or your name if you prefer]
And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!
