Bio and Links
Bio Photo Find-A-Grave is a great web site. It allows one to search for an ancestor without having a local cemetery index book.

We know how difficult it is to research when living out of state. We have met many helpful people that we consider friends and family. That is the reason we enjoy giving back by being a Photo Volunteer.

Over the years we have collected some 6,000 photos. In an attempt to not have them lost and forgotten, we are placing them here on Find-A-Grave for others searching to find. When we find that a Memorial Page has not yet been created, we will create one. If someone is your family and you wish to manage their Memorial Page we would be happy to transfer them to you.

RE: James Blanchard Minton
Thank you for your quick response.

Are you a relative of James Blauchard Minton?
Too sleepy to remember how to spell middle name correctly for sure.

James Blanchard Minton
Dear Gina,
I have just returned from Board Town and Mountain Town, Gilmer Cty, Ga. and Chattanooga, Tn.
I am researching my Minton lineage.
Starting with William Riley Minton and his first wife Sarah (maiden name unknown) and their three children, Sarah, Elizabeth and James Blanchard.

James Blanchard Minton and His first wife Elizabeth Gragg are my maternal Ggrandparents.
I found James's grave in Chattanooga buried along side his second wife Addie Dillard.
Would you know where James's first wife might be buried?

Would you know anything about William Riley's First wife Sarah's maiden name or place of burial in Gilmer County?

I have added James's gravemarker to my tree if you would like to copy it. He died of a coronary thrombosis.
thank you Sincerely,
Candy Casala

RE: Willodean Elliott Sizemore
Yes, it does help. Thank you! I started doing some more research before I saw your reply and found the memorial you created & the links. I already had him & his family in my data so added his wife.

Are you a Sizemore descendant?

Thanks again!
