My name is Bob Smith. I am the son of Tony Manford and Vera Grace (Harrison) Smith. |
My passion is family and that led me into genealogy. I started collecting family data when I was 15 yrs of age. Some of the surnames I descend from are: Harrison, Smith, Kipp, Prater, McGill, Frisby, Arnold, Robinson, Norton, Washburn, Merritt, Roper, Grimes(Grooms), Humphreys, Davenport, and Casselman to name a few.
I have started annotating every family member that has passed into this wonderful website.
If you find an error please e-mail me so I can correct it. I will gladly transfer ownership of any memorial that is not a family member of mine.
You are welcomed to add virtual flowers to any of my memorials.

This cemetery is enormous. There are about 21,000 burials here. If you look at the photos for this cemetery, there is a map and you will see names of different sections. Each section has upward of 400 plots in it. If you could get the name of the section it would help. I don't have a map of plots and when I go there the office is hardly ever open so I can't access the map inside the office. I will be going back now and then and if you call the office at 816-279-5005 and get a section name and post it with your request or on the memorial page, someone should have a better chance of finding the marker. Directions or a location within the section could help as well. The office personnel don't want a person like me asking for the locations of a whole bunch of people....they just don't have time for it all at once.
I hope this will help you find your loved one.
Thank you for linking Locy to his wife Elizabeth Brown Schoonover. Your help, time and kindness was appreciated.

|Ann Harris Humble||Carrie Ethe Isaac Pottorf|
There is an indication that George Pottorf (1886-1973) was the spouse of Carrie. George Pottorf was my grandfather; he married my Grandmother Ethel R. Edwards during January 1917 and remained with her all of his life. At the time of that marriage Carrie was less than a year old.
George Pottorf is buried at Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa, Jefferson County, Kansas.

Hi Bob, You stated Henrietta Marie Cosselman was born Jefferson Co,NY. Do you happen to know the city or Twp she was born, or where Sylvanus and Mary were living or married? I am trying to get close to the location of my Sylvanus and Sophia birth/marriage town/city in Jefferson Co. as well.Thanks for your help.
|GeekyGraveGirl||Loberg transfers, take three...|
I meant my transferring them to your care, in case that wasn't clear. Have a great day!

I have these two little boys in the same marker near Lobergs whom I presume are their paternal grandparents. Since you are related, do you know which of Emil's son may have been the father? Also, if you are interested in transferring the Sunset Lobergs, I'm fine with that. Thanks!
Hi Bob, I was able to find Clement Humphrey, he is buried with Bina. I can add a memorial for her or you can, you probably have more info then me.
Many Thanks--@ngel #47774099

Hello Bob, wondering if you have crossed paths with any one recently researching "my" Sylvanus and Sophia Stoughtenger Casselman. I see them in the 1880 census in Marcellus, Cass Co, MI.
Also, the 1850 census in Lyme, Jefferson Co, NY on family number 189, p.26 is a Joseph and Julia Copelman b. 1812 and she b. 1817. Any one you recognize?
My Casselman was b. Jefferson Co, NY also. Thanks.
