Bio Photo Being able to assist people in locating relatives or having photos of the grave site without having to make a trip is my way of giving back. Because of work done by other Find a Grave contributors, I have found invaluable information and hope that the time and effort I spend here will be equally of value to others. If I have posted one of your relatives, please let me know, so I can transfer the memorial to you, as you can add other information to the memorial. ~David

David, Thank you so much for the transfer. It's been a hectic last few days. Dad was laid to rest Wednesday afternoon and it was a beautiful service. Thanks again for your kindness. Teresa :)

McClellan
David, re: previous note on Alex McClellan,
I know where Alex is buried here in TX. My
reason for this note is that I saw your site
with a Blanche and Ray McClellan. Alex was
m'd three times. He used these names in
1908 and 1910 for children with his third
wife. Thought there might be a connection
for us to follow. We cannot find Alex in
1870 or 1880. The spelling problem is keeping
us from finding his father. He m'd my great
grandmother in 1884. She lived in Hunt Co, TX
and then Titus Co TX. His second wife's
tombstone spells his name, McLellan, in 1891.
Any suggestions re the McClellan name in NE Texas?

McClellan
David,
Am searching for a great grandfather, Alexander
E. McClellan, b 1863 TX (per 1900 Franklin Co,
TX Census). His son, William Jefferson, was
b. 1884 in TX. Alex and Jeff both died in
December 1916 flu epidemic in Mt. Vernon, Franklin
Co, TX. Our Alex was m'd three times. Your
site listed a Blanche and a Ray McClellan.
Alex had children with these two names in 1908
and 1810. Because McClellan is spelled so many
different ways it is almost impossible to get a
good trace started. Could there be a connection?

Caleb M. Pendergraft
Looking for gravesite of great grandfather, Caleb Pendergraft, b. 1826 Blount Co AL. Said to die about 1910 Van Buren, Crawford Co, AR. He served in CW. Had come to TX with his last two daughters in 1890's (was in AR in 1880 Census) and when the
daughters married in 1895 he returned to AR, was
in the AR 1900 Census. A Ms. Bean wrote to one of the daughters that Caleb had died and been buried in Bean Cemetery and that there was a picture on his tombstone.
