Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been studying and photographing old tombstones and tombstone carvers since 1990 and have been in over 1500 cemeteries, mostly in southwestern Pennsylvania. My main interest is in tombstones from around 1800 - 1850, but I like almost anything unusual or well done, especially concrete tombstones, photoceramics, and tombstones for soldiers who died in the service.

Thank you so much for the photo of his marker. I came into possession of a printed journal of his regarding the War of 1812 a few years ago and have been interested to see where he was laid to rest.

Thanks again,
Sara

Hull Farm Cemetery Schellsburg Bedford Co. PA
Bill,
Just wanted to let you know that photographs have been entered for Hull Farm Cemetery Schellsburg Bedford Co. PA. This was the first cemetery for the Hull Family in Bedford Co. PA & includes many Boylan carved stones. The cemetery is now very well kept up by the owners. Thank you for your previous info on the Boylan stone carvers.

RE: Hannah Rothermel memorial
Sure, I'm working primarily on my Rothermel links & family. Info was from her death certificate. I'd be glad to maintain her memorial.
Thanks, Will

RE: Sarah Horner
Sorry, I thought I was on her list and sending a edit. I'll see if I can find any information in the book. Did you photograph any other markers there?

Sarah Horner
This information is from "Our Horner Ancestors" by Virginia Horner Hinds
I do not find this person listed in the names from the Horner Cemetery in Greene of Fayette counties.
Could be another Horner Cemetery in western PA?

Transfered memorials
Bill,

Thank you for the transfers. As I complete with updated information, would it be OK to return them to your care?
