First, I would like to point out that the photos on the memorial pages are thumbnails and will open larger if clicked on; and they will usually open larger twice more if you click twice more. |
If you want to use any of my photos for your family tree, you have my permission.
I am shy about going to cemeteries through private property and I avoid really large cemeteries in hot weather.
Otherwise, I am happy to help.
If you want me to delete one of my photos so that you may add a better photo - no problem.
My husband and I don't have a relative, living or dead, south of Little Rock, Arkansas. My Deep South memorials are not my people.
My list of PET PEEVES:
1) Moldy old silk flowers.
2) People who don't say thank you.
3) Fire ants and wasp.
4) Too much herbicide around tombstones.

Hi. I am the 2nd great-grandson of George and am wondering if you'd be willing to transfer his memorial to me. I understand if you are family as well, as it seems you have taken over from my grandmother's cousin Phil Smiley. Let me know if this is possible. Thank you.

I can easily see where the obit would cause confusion. Thanks for helping me out with that. The Beta testing of that new multi photo thing has a lot of pluses but the fact that if you delete anything from any memorial then it removes it from everyone. Kind of a pain in the patootie!

I inadvertently made a duplicate for Alphonsine Murphy as she is listed on the grave stone of the Murphy tomb in St. Louis #3 with her husband and kids. I didn't notice until I linked her to her husband and saw that you had a memorial in a different cemetery (which is why it didn't come up- the maiden name is spelled differently as well). Are you sure that she is in #1 where you have a memorial? It might be that mine is a cenotaph. Next problem is that i used the Beta testing photo uploader. It has a glitch that if i delete her memorial, it deletes the photos out of all of the memorials linked to that one. If you aren't sure of her place of burial, would you mind very much deleting your so I don't have to go back and re-upload the photos numerous times? Of course, I will do that if you prefer since you created your memorial first - I can transfer the one I created to you as I am not related. I am just trying to avoid re-uploading all of the photos! (Lazy!)
Thank you so very much for taking the time from your life to go photograph the Catha Family burial places in Amite Memorial Gardens. The photographs came out lovely. I appreciate your time and effort and cannot thank you enough.

Thank you so much for doing this.

There is a listing I just found in a different cemetery for Walter?
Can you double check if Henry Hope is in
Greenwood or at Masonic Cemetery

Thank you very much. I will add them then if you don't want to. I've been told that he is a relative, Henry Hope that is. So I will add them and see if anyone can help fill in the remaining questions of how they are all related to each other. Thank you. The pictures of the stones do help tell a little bit more of the story. Thanks again.

Thank you for ALL of your help. I really do appreciate it.
I think he was in East St. Louis, MO for a while. Not certain of the time period. Then from there to Colorado Springs. Then at some time, I believe he must have moved to California. Think he was in the Colorado Springs area ca 1950.

Got it. THANK YOU so very much. This means more than you will ever know.
