Bio

I am a local and church historian for the Beaver Meadow, Tuscarora Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania area. I specialize in research for Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna and Wyoming PA. Counties. If you think I can help you with your research, just ask. My database is large. I enjoy all phases of genealogy. I contribute to Sullivan and Bradford County gen webs and have written a few church histories.
May everyone enjoy researching and preserving history for our next generation.

All of my memorials are created for people. God created people with more than just birth and death dates. We humans all come with a personal history. Mine is not to judge someone else's life, but to just preserve it with the foot prints that history leaves behind. There is no bigger tribute to one who has gone on than the tribute written by their loved ones left behind at the time of their passing which they have posted in public domain locations.

Anyone wishing to have memorials that I have added removed from find a grave need only send a request. I put the memorial pages here so that family members in search of ancestors can find them, not to offend anyone

Matthew 7:1-6
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

I try not to offend anyone with my postings which are purely meant to preserve the memory of a life well lived. If you have a problem with any memorial, please feel free to email me with the specific Find a Grave number to that memorial, state your direct relationship and we will work out a solution to what is offensive. People, which make up my postings have MANY relatives, each of us has different ideas. Isn't it wonderful we are not all carbon copies!

I am often criticized as to census spelling errors. I never change the way census is recorded for one reason. If any person wants to look up the census for themselves, they have the accurate data to do so. Sometimes finding census is a very difficult job with data being so grossly misspelled. It just eases that process leaving it the way it is recorded. Mine is not to change history, but to record it the way it is recorded.

Just a note here:
I am a human being, if I made a mistake, please know, that is how you can tell I am Human! I am happy to repair any errors. This human responds better when being spoken nicely to.
Sincerely, Carol Brotzman

Dear Ancestor...
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and dates are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder as you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
