Bio and Links
Bio Photo I spend part of my day every day working on genealogy. Got into cemeteries about 1993 and love it. I'm updating the Coweta County Georgia Cemetery book by taking pictures of all the tombstones in Coweta County and surrounding counties.

===With Coweta having TWO New Hopes, Providences, Elims, Bethels, Bethlehems, Ebenezers, Holly Springs, Mt Gileads, Liberty Hills, Mt Carmels, St Marks, Wesley Chapels, =Mt Zion/Zion Hill, Tinch/Tench, Linch/Lynch, Calvary/Mt Calvary, FOUR Oak Grove/White Oak Groves, we see how new people can get discombobulated!

**Even the Social Security is holding back their Death Index's for 3 years now, the last year out is 2011. I don't feel as if I should help ID theives by putting birth dates after 1940 on the memorials. If this is your relative, then I'll transfer them to you and you can put the complete dates on them.***

******I HAVE COMPLETED TAKING PICTURES OF ALL STONES I COULD FIND IN ALL CEMETERIES IN COWETA EXCEPT: 4 churches whose grass was too tall and about 20 unknown cems I can't find. *****************

For those of you who do not know what cem in Coweta folks are buried in, you can ask someone to find which one.

If you would like a better pic, just email me.

Trying to list all the VETERANS who lived or died in Coweta Co GA in my virtual Cems.

Some of my scouts from Troop 47, First Baptist Church Newnan GA transcribed/took pictures of the some cemeteries. I will attempt to hurry up and put more pics on findagrave.

I am researching the following families: Couch, Brooks, Brown, Cannon, Delk, Drake, Ensley, Entrekin, Hubbard, Ivey, Loyd, Kimble, Kimball, Massey, Moore, Slaughter -- Beavers, Caldwell, Callaway, Chapman, Chappell, Cooper, Davis, Gresham, Harris, Hayes, Henderson, Henslee, Henson, Higgins, Hinton, Johnson, Jones, Kelley, Lawson, Lumpkin, McCullough, McMichael, Middlebrooks, Morgan, Neill, Nix, North, Pope, Quick, Rainwater, Reese, Spradlin, Story, Thompson, Todd, Ward, Williams, Wilson, & Wooton. all in Coweta County Georgia area in 1700-2014. Also, Wood, Goins, Snow, Roney, Holt, Bradshaw & Norman in Alamance/ Guiliford & Surry County NC areas.

Thank you once again
Hey Dianne,

I hope you are feeling better than the last time I tried to contact you (when we were supposed to meet). Last night I stumbled upon the US Genweb project for Coweta County and lo and behold found wills for several Smiths! (I saw your name on many of the other wills by the are very committed to our genealogy!) I found in those wills that Miles Smith was Martha Ann Smith's uncle, not father! Now I have more pieces to put together, but her father was Mark Smith.

Thanks for all you do!

My computer is glitching! That is why I haven't posted photo's in awhile. I didn't realize this one posted several times and I don't think I can remove it. I will have to see. Thanks for checking on me!

I am a Plant Family researcher. I would be pleased to manage the Plants you have posted. And yes, Meriwether and Coweta County Plants are all related.

Thanks for all you do. I appreciate your work.

RE: Beverly Carol Phillips
Hi Dianne - here is my husband's direct line beginning with his mother:
Margie Louise Phillips, Oscar Wallace Phillips,
Benjamin Wallace Phillips, Rial Matterson Phillips, Robert Hamet Phillips, William Phillips,
Reuben Phillip, Thomas Phillips, Edward Phillips from England. So you see they all tie in, isn't this great?

Strong Cem. in Sharpsburg
Hi Dianne, great job getting the photos at the Strong Cem.. You just beat me to it. Janie Light and I have talked about it some. I am a direct descendant too and I want to go and see the spot and maybe restore it. I do this kind of thing from time to time. At least clean it up some. Looks like it might be in somebody`s back yard? I don`t live in Georgia but may be coming through there this fall. Is there any way you could give me directions or an address and who I might need permission from? I would really like to see it for myself. I have a copy of the only known(I think)photo of Sarah and Eugenia. Sincerely, Eli Chandler
