Interconnections of families within and between cemeteries fascinate me. Its like a giant puzzle. Each connection leads to another. |
My goal is to document these connections and if possible add short biographies with the help of descendants or other sources.
I want these people to have identities...to be more than just a stone in a cemetery. I want their lives to be more than a dash between birth and death dates.
I do have a special interest in the Civil War especially Iowa, Pennsylvania and Virginia since my roots lie in those states.
Surnames of family interest: Bonnett, King , Pollock, Keller, Harsch, Saffell.
Transferring entries is not a problem as long as I am not closely related.
Always happy to make corrections or additions.

If you will get me a list of names, I will be glad to transfer them to you. But it will take me a little while, as I have a memorial service for my father, and a graveside service for my grandmother to attend next week.

My name is Rachel Waugh and I would like to request transfer of William and Elender Payn(e)'s memorials to me. I am their five times great grandaughter and am creating a family tree on this site.

Hello, thanks for the note. In Lorenzo's obituary, Elsie is listed as an adopted daughter. I have read
where Josephus M. Johnson, who was a neighbor of the Crippen's, was probably the Josephus Johnson
who is listed as the father on the birth certificate. But there was also another older Josephus Johnson
who many believed was the father. Either way, if all the dates are right, the mother, Mary, was only
13 at the time of birth of Elsie, which seems to us to have required some kind of legal action of
some kind for underage pregnancy.
I have done some looking for this Josephus Johnson, but have not found much. Do you have information
on him? Are there other sources verifying he is the father?
I tried sending an email but it did not go through.
My name is Rachel Waugh and I am the five times great granddaughter of Leander Ransom and Deidamia Connelly. I would like to request transfer of this memorial to my care so that I may continue to build my family's history on this site. Thank you for the creation of this memorial!
