Bio Photo My name is David Alan Jones, I was born on February 25, 1956 at Mills Memorial Hospital in San Mateo, CA. I am a student of history, including that of my own family and direct decendants; "Without he or she, there would be no me". Cemeteries are excellent resources for genealogy research and also places of quiet reflection for the living.
I have written a book, "US Silent Service Dolphins & Combat Insignia, 1924-1945". I enjoy research into the military history of the United States. I am currently writing a book on my Ellis lineage in a book titled "The Ellis Family".
My son and I are members of the "Son's of the American Revolution" and my daughter is a member of the "Daughter's of the American Revolution". I am also a member of The War of 1812 Society. I serve as a captain on the Klamath River Fire Department. Thanks for looking at my bio.

Dave I just realized tonight that I posted the Laura Bolton image to the wrong memorial. I took the stone of Uriah and Laura Bolton. I have removed the incorrect photo from the Laura Probasco memorial so please resubmit your photo request. I apologize for the confusion!

Hi, I was adding some photo's to my g-uncle's memorial & on the last one I forgot to click person, so I was notified I had added a headstone photo request. I also realized he was in the wrong Calvary cemetery and have since moved him and contacted the person who created the other one. so you might want to request it again.

Capt. Thomas Johnson
Thank-you, I do appreciate your prompt responses. I only found this Capt. Johnson when I was looking at this site for other veterans of other wars buried at Stevenson. "Captain" made me look him up and fin your listing. The only "Captain Thomas Johnson" I can find in our historic records served in the War of 1812. His dates do not match and he is said to be buried in Bowersville, Ohio. I hope your cousin can help. Judy Seiter

Would you like for him to get the attention he deserves with the 17 soldiers we have written proof are buried there? Who told you? My ladies want more information. It would be fun to show them their mothers and aunts overlooked someone. Judy Seiter

Capt. Thomas Johnson
Do you have a section and grave number for Thomas Johnson? I am in the DAR and we have 17 Rev. Vets. marked at Stevenson Cemetery and he is not among them. I would like to recognize him but I need to know where to put a marker. Could he be at Massie Creek Cemetery on Tarbox Cemetery Rd? I have walked all over that cemetery too and cannot find him. FYI "Find a Grave" doesn't recognize the cemetery on Tarbox Cemetery RD. It lumps all of the graves with Stevenson on Jones Rd. and they are not even in the same township. A grve number or how you found where he was buried would help me locate him. Thank-you, Judy Seiter, regent of Cedar Cliff Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
