Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Brenda (Boyer) Kohr. My husband, Pete, and I are researching his side of the family (Kohr/Smith)&(Minnich/Buxton), as well as my own (Boyer/Grimes)&(Beil/Shott). We are not trying to see how many memorials we can amass so that we can have our numbers posted in the "Top Contributors" catagory. We want to make memorials to pay tribute to our families and friends and hopefully help others to find theirs.

We enjoy helping others by photographing grave markers. There are times that we may photograph markers that are near the ones we were asked to take photos of, or if we see one with our surnames. If there is no memorial for these extra photos that we take....I create one. If by chance I happen to create a memorial for a relative or a friend of yours don't hesitate to ask for a transfer. I don't feel the need to keep memorials that I have created. (unless they are family) I only created them so that someone may find a member of their family or a friend.

NOTE: - GUIDELINES ....definition of...

A guideline is a statement by which to determine a course of action. By definition, following a guideline is never mandatory. Guidelines are NOT binding.

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone

It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born

Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so

I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

God Bless you both! Thank you so much for taking and sending me a photo of my brother's headstone, I've only seen it once many years ago. I now live in West Virginia and won't be in the area, so this photo means alot to me. Robin Dana Powell. Again Thank you so much, it means the world to me. Mrs.Kim Houtz

Headstone photos
Brenda & Pete,
I just want to thank you from the very bottom of my heart for taking the time to go to the cemetery and take a photo of my great grandparents headstone. I live 4 hours away and had no idea where they were buried.
I appreciate your kindness!!
May God bless you and your loved ones.

Lester Jack Matthews stone
Thank you so much for adding the picture of Jack and Nana Faye Matthews to the memorial. He was my grandfather's half brother, and I'd probably never get to the cemetery to get a picture for myself. Thanks again.

Hello Brenda & Pete,
I have transferred his memorial over to you. I copied his obituary from The Patriot News paper. I deliver them & usually have one left over. I add obituaries due to so their loved ones might want the obituary or like myself into genealogy & found an ancestor in their tree.
