I am located in west-central Montana.|
My family and the information that I have found on FAG is priceless to me and I am so happy that this site exists. For me, one of the most important parts about FAG is that for every memorial I enter onto this site, that's a memorial that has a chance of getting into the right hands of family or friends.
Duplicates: It is never my intention to create a duplicate on purpose. If you come across a duplicate I have made, please use the SAC and let me know. Nicely, please. I'll be happy to remove it. Please don't create a duplicate of my memorials; I would rather you just ask for a transfer instead of creating a duplicate.
A Duplicate is: If I enter a memorial on March 1st for Colby Smith and then someone else enters another memorial for the same Colby Smith on March 15th, the one entered on March 15th is the dupe, not mine.
Transfers: On each memorial please use the "EDIT" button and then the "Suggest a Correction" (SAC) to request transfer. However, if you are one of those people who strictly adhere to the transfer guidelines but want me to transfer to *you* outside of the guidelines, chances are I will decline your request.
Please be advised that if you ever come across a contributor who states they "do not do transfers", within the guidelines, that's not allowed.
Photos: Please feel free to use any photos I have posted on Findagrave for your use, public or private.

|lrobart||request for transfers|
Would you please consider transferring these memorials to me?
66952596 (Kate Blacker); 66952557 (Muzetta Blacker); 66952447 (Helen Blacker Swezy); 66952697 (Catherine Buchenau)
They are all buried together, along with my great grandmother Ada Cordelia Buchenau Blacker. The first three are my grand aunts and the fourth is Ada's mother and my great great grandmother, Catherine Buchenau.
Thank you! And thanks again for all you do!!

I must have read it wrong...thought the stone said "ae 16" Well, forgive an old lady's eyes.
Well, you must know by now that all the Cowles families in the US are inter-related.
Pardon me while I look and see where we fit together. LOL
Okay. Bela Cowles is a first cousin 5x removed from my late husband Bob. I'll let you figure out how that makes you & Bob related. LOL

I went ahead and placed the picture on the W W de Lacy memorial and removed the one on your memorial, thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the picture, it is very considerate of you to take pictures for others. Peter was my Great Grand Uncle. I didn't know where he was laid to rest.

|Mhammer||I am curious|
I am curious if you know if Freda was married to a Joseph Kirk? Joseph Kirk was my great grandfather. My 81 year old grandmother saw this link and was interested in it.

THANKS, Tami, for your kind, generous transfer. I've linked George to wife, Mamie, but I wondered if their markers were adjacent. Should I make a pic request to get such a shot? Bill

A lot of the headstones are spelled both ways (oi and io) too. I have seen members of the same family spell it both ways.

Eugene A. Henriod was my great great grandfather.
Henriod (io) was the correct spelling. It was frequently spelled Henroid, even by family members because that was the way they pronounced it here in America. I have even seen it spelled both ways in the same obituary.
