My name is Chris Benton and I have been doing genealogical research for 20 years. I am a native Georgian - I was born and grew up in southwestern Georgia (Moultrie/Ashburn), went to college in east Georgia (Statesboro/Savannah), and now reside in north Georgia (metro Atlanta/Gwinnett). My Georgia research is focused primarily in Tattnall, Toombs, Meriwether, Milton (north Fulton), Colquitt, Mitchell, and Grady counties.|

I have a friend buried at Hillcrest Abbey East--Frances Elaine Brady. I have her listed on find a grave. If possible could you take a picture of her grave for me. Her family does not live in Savannah and I set up the memorial for them and for Frances. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Okay, Thank you!

I was wondering if you are the one that started the above named cemetery. If you are, in your notes, would you please add that Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery is now called Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, or that it is at least also known as Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park. That is what is being put in the obits now.
Thank you so much
JoAnn D. Bland, formerly from Chatham County, Georgia

No problem I will be happy to look again. I am actually going out there again next week. I am going to meet up with Mr. Ballard who is a member of the Robertville Baptist Church. He is a wealth of information on all of the history in that area. He also knows of another cemetery that the church might have done some burials in. I did find many of the Bostick's Graves and will be adding there pictures to the cemetery page on Find-A-Grave. I took 126 pictures in all and am trying to update all of the listings for the Robertville Baptist Church Cemetery. I will find MR.Benton if he is there! The old Black Swamp Church cemetery is somewhat overgrown so I am going to clean out some areas to try and get back to some hard to reach grave sites. That area of South Carolina is an unchartered treasure of history. I really enjoyed going out there! I will do my best for you!

I got the pictures you requested for the Ward's in L.I.N.C.
Bruce is buried alone.
Bailey is buried with his wife Tommie. I've added a picture to her existing memorial. Note the plot information for both Bailey & Tommie are wrong on their memorials. Both should read G, 4984.
Have a good one...

Hello, thanks for contributing to James' memorial. He is my great great great grandfather and I would love to add all that I have to this memorial. My file is extensive. Have you transferred it to anyone else yet? If not, I would like to manage this one. Thanks for your consideration.

I was wondering if you were not related to this person. If you would transfer his memorial over to me, because I am related to him and would like to add information to it. Thank You Athena

Thank you for your reply. It's fine to have the photos there. I had just never seen the contributor's name posted below the generic photos. Perhaps it's something new? Thanks for your assistance. Ann
