RE: Emily C Baldwin
Thank you for your e-mail. Would that be appropriate to ask him to transfer his info to mine? He posted in 2002 long before I did. But she is my gggrandmother, so does that have priority?
He has the photos of the grave site on his posting and I do not.

Nathaniel Starr Baldwin b: 23 Oct 1812 was the son of Nathaniel and Susanna York Baldwin.

Nathaniel Starr Baldwin died on 10 Dec 1859 in Woodbridge, New Haven, CT.

I have tons of information on my Baldwin family as they first came to America in 1636. Much of the infomration is documented in books and archives.

Thanks again.

Thank you for notifying me about my posting of my gggrandmother. I did not see the other posting which was done before mine. I do have more information on my posting, so I don't know that I want to delete mine. If they can both stay, then we should leave it that way, I guess.

Mount Royal Cemetery Photo Request
Mount Royal Cemetery has 165 acres. The burial plot location must be supplied so a volunteer can go take the photo.

You can get this free information by filling the form here: www.mountroyalcem.com/index.php/en/our-services/genealogy-menu.html and in the "Desired Service" field, select "Burial Location (free)" and enter the information.

If the Genealogy page was not helpful then email your request to genealogy@mountroyalcem.com

The cemetery will email you the location (3-10 working days).

Have the memorial updated with the plot number.

You will have made it possible for the photo to be taken.

RE: Angeline King's parents.
Great detective work! I have changed the birth and death date for Elizabeth Jacocks King on Findagrave. Just to let you know, when I contacted the Steuben County Historian's Office in Bath, New York, the only information they had containing Angeline was a list of "descendants of Ebenezer Merrick King" prepared by Edith King Barr, 1094 Kathryn Rd., Mount Juliet, TN 37122. It lists 16 children for Ebenezer Merrick King, with Angeline listed as #7. The only information it gives for Angeline is: Angeline King was born on 25 November 1813 in Trumansburg, Tompkins Co., NY. She died on 10 Apr. 1880 in Plain City, UT. She was married to Ebenezer Clauson Richardson on 20 Oct. 1833 in Greenwood, NY. Ebenezer Clauson Richardson was born on 7 Aug 1815 in Dryden, NY. Parents: Josiah Richardson and Lola Foote. Angeline King and Ebenezer Clauson Richardson had the following children: Mary Ann Richardson, Emiline Richardson, Sylvester Richardson." Others of Ebenezer's descendnats have much longer biographies on the page, so I'm suspecting that Edith King Barr is not descended from Angeline. This page was printed 4 March 1999. Interestingly, Angeline listed her own birth location as Kingtown--not Trumansburg--so it makes me think that the sources for this document are not original. So far I haven't found anything earlier than the mid-1900s that links Angeline into the Ebenezer Merrick King family.

Melva E Bonavich
Thank you for posting Aunt Melba's burial information on Find-a-Grave.

Can you correct her name to read Melba E Bonavich, instead of Melva?

Her maiden name is Everett. She is the daughter of Charles Averett/Everett & Hilda Marchbanks.

Thank you.

RE: Angeline King's parents.
I'm guessing the book might be Fontella Abbott's book? I've looked at her book, and the sources aren't clear. I contacted the Steuben County Historian's Office, and found that there really isn't any good documentation on this relationship. Angeline is listed as one of 16 children in the Ebenezer and Betsey Jacocks King family. I can not find any primary sources that link her to this family. The earliest record the historian's office has to link her to this family is a 1960 Tennessee researcher's attempt to piece together the family. In short, the documentation is seriously lacking and the DAR won't even recognize the relationship because the sourcing is so poor. How do we get the word out to Angeline's descendants to let them know that we need to question this relationship and search for some real documentation as to Angeline's parentage? If we discount a 1960 researcher's opinion, then we have no idea who Angeline's parents are.
