I am researching Gaylord and Ford family and Jewett for my wife. I will be happy to search for and photograph any grave sites in Spring Lake, Fayetteville NC. |
You may use my photos for your genealogy, credit would be appreciated.

Of course! It was a gorgeous day and my dog was thrilled to get out for a cemetery hike.

Thanks for the heads up. That mem and several others needed some tweaking. I appreciate all the eyes helping out.
Sure, use my photos as you like.

One night while searching for ancestors, I stumbled onto burial records for Center cemetery, so I decided to enter them on Find A Grave, hoping that others would find their ancestors. Tried not to enter any duplicates and guess I missed some. Please except my apologies, as I didn't mean to do that. I have deleted my memorials.

RE: Photo of Headstone of Daniel McLean; Murchison Cemetery, Harnett County, NC posted by you; F-a-G # 21229280
If you have the original of this photo, can you/will you please transcribe it completely (I have tried and can't read all of it) and add it to the Caption for the photo...and also send it to Millie Belle to put on Daniel's F-a-G profile page.
Daniel was an important Scotsman to the Cumberland & Harnett Counties area and it would be so great to be able to read every word on his headstone.

Larry, I believe the photo you posted on the memorial for Infant Son Maxwell located in Cameron Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Harnett County, is the wrong one for Infant Son Maxwell. Your photo is for S. Jonathan Maxwell, brother of Infant Son Maxwell, who also appears in Find A Grave in this cemetery. What are your thoughts?
Good Hunting to You!

You are most welcome. It was interesting as there was a Matti Puska in another section with no dates on the marker. The dates were good on this one though. Hope all is well in NC. I have a good friend in Burnsville, near Ashville that we visited a couple of years ago. Nice country.

Sure! That would be great. I am trying to add as many that have served in the Army Special Forces into a virtual cemetery that I established. A place where the members of the Special Forces Association members can go to see all of the SF memorials that have found their way on to Find A Grave.

I have been gone since April. I was just getting started with edits tonight. All the photos (dozens) you took and the information recorded will really help give an accurate burial record for Spence Cemetery.
*hats off* I can't thank you enough! Regards
PS I can't help but envy you the time in that cemetery *smiles*
