Bio and Links
Bio Photo Sorry to say many burial grounds in Charleston have been built over and no records ever made, other than the city death records, most were old salts and paupers.
Family names researching, Kanapaux, Griser, Brunson, Keegan. All these families are from Charleston, SC.
I am a Real Great-Grandaughter of Capt. John T. Kanapaux, CSA and great- niece to his four brothers that also served. A member of United Daughters of the Confederacy, Chapter 4 in Charleston and a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Please ask permission before "borrowing" my family photo's. I worked very hard and many hours to obtain bio's, obit's and photo's. If permission is given you must give credit where it is due.

Yvonne, I don't remember getting an obit. Try sending it again.

Maybe distantly. Do you have any of the older names?
Thanks Robert

RE: Cocoran's
Yes, my email's still the same. Do you know who Timothy Corcoran parents were, or the parents of Mary Casey, his wife? I don't mind sending him to you if you want me to. Let me know it may be easier to just transfer him to you.

RE: Transfer memorials
Yvonne, I didn't sent the memorial on John T. Corcoran since he is my grandchildren's great uncle. His father was the grandchildren's ggg? grandfather. If you really want him I'll send him. Let me know if that's the case.

Sarah A Hayes Cordray
Yvonne - I've completed your request for a photo of the grave of Mrs Cordray. Of the three children you mentioned, only Mary Agnes is buried on the lot with her and she's in an unmarked grave. Died 8-11-1917 at age 19. There's no record of John Allen or Theresa in the cemetery. I might also mention that Cathedral Cemetery is now known as Catholic Cemetery. The name of the cemetery was changed sometime in the 1930s.
Thanks,
Linda Wallis

PAUL B. MASON
I amresearching the Mason line in Charleston, SC for a friend. I see Paul was born in Georgia,
but moved to Charleston.
Was his family originally from Charleston?
Thank you and that stone is beautiful.

RE: Karen DeAngelo marker
GOH refers to her location as "The Rose Garden Mausoleum". It's located in the middle of the gardens and all markers face outward.

Glad you like the photo.

RE: Carolyn Lewis memorial
She's not a relative. I'm just trying to get as many links as possible. Thank you for doing so.

Happy New Year!

CHARLES LITSCHGI
I am one of the three grandsons of Albert William Litchgi. My mother, Mary Kiem Litschgi Anderson (22 Dec. 1915 to 17 Nov. 1999) was the second child and second daughter born of the marriage of Albert William Litschi and Mary Catherine Byrne Litschgi.

Let me know if you want more information about my family.

My understanding is that Charles Litschgi was my grandfather's uncle. I would greatly appreciate all information you could provide about Albert William Litchgi.

You may already know that Charles Litschi donated the money for the main altar for the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Broad Street in Charleston, SC. I will see if I can download those pictures to your website.

Photo Request Gate of Heaven
This is a huge cemetery, and without grave location, impossible to find. Grave location is not given to anyone but family.
