I love genealogy. I contribute to Findagrave as a way to pay back for all the help that I have found on-line while doing my genealogy. I prefer to have a picture for each memorial that I create but it is not always possible. |
If you want to use my pictures for genealogical purposes, feel free to do so - though it would be nice if you put its FindaGrave memorial number, that way more people will learn about FindaGrave. If you want the clear, full sized original picture, contact me and I will share it via e-mail with you if I still have it on my computer.
Please be kind when you find a mistake, I am human and will make them.
While most of my pictures were taken in Indiana, I no longer reside in that state so I am unable to search "local" Indiana tombstones.

No problem. Thanks for your responsiveness. Are you a Troxler relative?

hello! I just saw your photo of John Haddock's grave in Sherritt Cemetery, and I am wondering if you remember seeing any writing on the headstone. There is an open book engraved, so I am wondering if there were any dates written there.
I am planning a trip there soon, so no worries if you do not remember.
Would you be able to email me the photo if you still have it?
Thanks for the St Anthony transfers for the Wibbels family. If you wouldn't mind transferring all of them I can connect them to each other..Thanks for everything, Member # 47206707

Hi T., Thank You for the transfer. I live in Washington about 25 miles from Jasper. I checked at our library Fri. and They just havd 3 of the 7 Dubois Co. cemetery book and did not have the Main cemetery. It's funny that Carol listed those people just about 2 or 3 days before I listed the others. I would have listed Sarah "Sally" (Shoulders) Main because she was my G.G.Grandfather's sister. At first I thought T. Wesley was her husband but he was Joseph and re-married and 10 more children after she died and is buried with his 3rd wife. So Thanks Again, Jim
|jim jones||Main Cem., Dubois|
Hi T., I see you listed all these with photos of stones. The Cem. photo shows about 30 stones and there are 31 listed on Find A Grave and one is a double. The ones without photos are listed probably by family. Of the 4 Mains, the only one you listed has a stone while the ones that Carol Grant listed don't, so I guess she knew they were supposed to be there. The Sarah (Shoulders) Main was my G.G. Grandfather's sistes and his wife was Mary Main that we think was Joseph Wesley's cousin. Joseph Main's father was Johnson Cleveland Main and His father was Louis Samuel Main and two wives all of which I think are more than likely buried here. So for now I am going to list them with a note to explain......Thank You, Jim

Thank you very much for the info. I still may take a drive to see the cemetery sometime, as I have never visited there yet.

Hello, I an sending this note in reference to a photo you posted for Quanda Cooper #17493300
I noticed you tagged the Cooper Cemetery marker as a headstone. This somewhat confused me as there is a headstone photo reguest still active.
Do you have a headstone or grave marker photo for this person? Please let me know before I claim this request. Thank you.
