I'm a retired Electrician and now I use about all my time doing Genealogy! I've been doing this since 1977. I still do all I can in searchers. I find that many cousins are looking for some of the things that we all are. Birts, marriage, death data and grave stones. My mother was born in Casey Co.,KY and finding lots of relitives down there. My fathers family came from Mason/Bracken Co.,KY area. Over 63,000 individuals are in my Family Tree Maker program so I may have connections for you.|

Hello--I saw the note that you left on the memorial for Philip O Woodring, son of William and Rebecca. Cemetery records show that he died 17 August 1856 at the age of 7y, 11m, 25d. This must be incorrect because his parents were married in 1851. I suspect that the tombstone was misread and that it actually shows his age as 1y, 11m, 25d. That would make his birth date 23 August 1854. That would have made him the first born son of William and Rebecca and it would be logical that he would have been named after his paternal grandfather. I have not looked for the actual tombstone so I don't know how legible it is now. Let me know what you think of this theory.

Hello! You will need to send me the memorial number for this Amanda Belle (Curry) Chapman. I do not see her anywhere when I do a search. This is what you sent to me:
Under Amanda Belle (Curry) Chapman, shows 4 people. Is this Amanda's father or husband? What are all the people's names. Thank you so much for shearing this with us.
Are you, by any chance, related to the Cezar Mattingly family?

You posted "John's parents were Hugh McDonald and Nancy Pierce. - Tim Mattingly Added: Aug. 22, 2010"
John Wesley McDonald is Find A Grave Memorial# 13489556. Do you have #'s for Hugh McDonald and/or Nancy Pierce or info on them?
Thanks in advance.

I don't believe Nancy was the daughter of Matthew Smith. Her father was John Smith, born in England, came to America to fight in the Revolutionary War as a British soldier. He was captured and decided to fight for Independence instead. He later went to Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Franklin County, Indiana where he was one of the first settlers of that county. His other children and Nancy's siblings are:
Elizabeth Smith Young
Sarah A Smith Snyder
Isaac Monroe Smith
Matthew was my great great great grandfather on my father's mother's side. He died in 1862 of measles in a Union camp during the Civil War. His wife was Mary Ellen Burris. Their daughter, Rachael Melvina Smith, married Albert Smith Hutton. Albert and Rachael had Mabel Janet Hutton. She married A.W. Woods.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Hi! I seen you left a flower post on Phillip's grave, he is my 3x's Great Grandfather (just recently figured this out) Do you happen to have any information on him, I saw he died young, then his wife remarried. ANYTHING will help!
