Bio and Links
Bio Photo After a long hiatus, I am back searching the cemeteries of central and southern IL looking for ancestors. I always take my camera, but don't have a lot of time. Summer of 2011, I hope to get to Perry, Williamson, and Saline counties. If you have a request, please give a detailed description of who's stone you would like a photo of, ie: Cemetery, Names, dates, plot # if possible.
Whenever I create a memorial, I try to give as much info as possible about that person. If you find a mistake, please let me know (courteously, of course) and I will make a correction.

READ!
---Also, I don't mind anyone using my photos for their own records, but please do not post my photos on other websites (especially Ancestry or other pay to use websites) as your own. I believe in free genealogy & I certainly do not want my work charged for by others!

Surnames that I am researching in Cent. and
South. IL: Patterson, Fouts, Breeze, Copple, Cowgur (Cowger), Gunter, Crabb, Bateman, Noller, Brittain, Just, Kramlich, Cochran, Sieka (Sicka), Schubert, Worden, Nevers, DePontaut, Stein, Geiger, & Kuhn. I am open to exchanging genealogical info on any of these families.

I also would like to thank all the cousins out there that have made contact and contributed information and files for our family on this site.

martha jane taylor
Martha Jane Taylor is my great great grandmother. She was the daughter of James Wylie Taylor, b. May 13 1805 in Georgia, d. Dec 31 1874 in Washington County, IL. Her mother is unknown. James Wylie Taylor was the son of William Taylor and Abigail Renfro. I have no documentation for his parentage.

Oscar & Grace Bonner
Hi: I found funeral cards on Oscar and Grace Bonner in my grandmother's things. I also have a photo of Robert Jean Bonner which looks like a senior photo. I am trying to determine how they are related to my family. My father and my mother's brother are casket bearers at Grace's service. They may be related through the Parks family. I will try to look through my Parks material and see if I find them.

Best wishes,
Micki

Ethinda Rieff Breeze Find A Grave Memorial# 55856414
Dear Sir,
Since you are researching the Breeze family, I would like to make 2 requests and ask a question re:
Ethinda Rieff Breeze, 2nd wife of John Breeze,
Jefferson Co. IL Marriage Record state they married April 1, 1841.

1. Request if you know of a Find A Grave memorial for THIS John Breeze, would you please LINK Ethinda to him.

2. Request Would you please add a comment to her BIO?

"Daughter of Henry Rieff and Catherine Sick. Born Wilson County, Tennessee.
Married April 1, 1841 in Jefferson Co., IL"

3. Do you know if Ethinda and John had any children before her untimely death?

Just FYI Comments: Ethinda is mentioned by name in her father's 1824 Will, filed in Wilson Co., TN. After his death, her mother Catherine moved to Jefferson Co. IL with those of her children who were still minors.
Ethinda was the 10th of 12 children born to Henry and Catherine.
(I can send you an abstract of Henry Rieff's Will to prove Ethinda was his daughter, let me know)
Two of Ethinda's sisters married into my Hill family.

Thank you very much for you time and consideration of my requests and questions.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Hill

your photos
Macklin, I agree with you that genealogy should be free, but sites like ancestry helps people connect to their relatives as well as their ancestors. In saying this I will always try and contact the person who took the pictures to ask permission, and give them full credit. Example You, "Photo provided by macklin, Find A Grave member #47294290". I wish everyone did this.
Thanks for listening

Thanks for catching the error. I had mistakenly entered her date of marriage where I should have entered her date of birth, but I have now corrected it.
